Free Fire MAX India Cup Spring is ready to set in motion in March 2026 for a two month extravaganza

As a big Free Fire MAX fan, I’m so excited to hear they’re starting their first esports event of the year in India! It’s called the Free Fire MAX India Cup Spring 2026, and it’s kicking off in February. The tournament will run until April, and they’ll be crowning a champion at the end. I’ve heard there are going to be several stages to the competition, plus individual awards and a massive prize pool. I’m really looking forward to following everything that happens!

Free Fire MAX India Cup Spring 2026: Schedule and Format

This event is a marathon competition running from February to late April. It will involve six stages, starting with qualifying rounds in four major cities, to determine the final teams who will compete.

The initial qualifying rounds are meant to determine which teams will advance to the main competition, and online qualifiers will serve the same purpose. After that, the remaining stages of the event will follow the standard format of most esports tournaments. Here’s a look at what to expect:

Stages Schedule
Group Stage February 26th – March 8th
Knockout Stage March 20th – April 5th
Point Rush April 25th
Champion Rush April 26th

Group Stage

The group stage will feature 48 teams who qualified through various routes, as planned. Six teams earned their spots at FFMIC 2025, four came through city qualifiers, and the other 38 qualified through the game itself.

This stage will last for two weeks. During the first week, nine teams will be chosen to move forward. Then, in the second week, the top six teams will be selected to compete in the knockout round.

Knockout Stage

This phase of the competition will be held from March 6th to 8th, with 18 teams participating. Matches will be played over three weeks, from Friday to Sunday, and each week represents an opportunity for teams to advance.

Point Rush and Champion Rush

Okay, so the competition will happen over two days. On the first day, we’ll see 12 teams battling it out. Then, the second day will be the same format, but it’s when they’ll actually decide who wins the whole thing and gets the championship trophy! I’m so excited to see which team will take it home.

Participating Teams

Okay, so here’s how it works: we’ll start with 8 teams already set for the Group Stage. After that, things will change – each stage will have fewer and fewer teams as some get knocked out. It’s going to be exciting to see who survives!

The final round of the Free Fire MAX India Cup Spring 2026 will feature 12 of India’s best professional teams. We haven’t confirmed the teams yet because the qualifying rounds haven’t started. We’ll post the complete team list here as soon as it’s available.

Prize Pool

I’m so excited about the prize money for the teams – it’s a massive ₹10,000,000, which works out to around $110,300! The winning team will get the biggest cut, and then everyone else will get prizes based on where they place. Here’s a breakdown of how the money will be distributed:
