Freddy Brazier reveals he has reconnected with estranged grandmother Jackiey Budden after claiming she ‘lied to him’

Just recently, Freddy Brazier publicly accused his grandmother, Jackiey Budden, of dishonesty in a dramatic TikTok video, stating he’d just realized she hadn’t been truthful with him.

However, he now appears to have patched things up with her just in time for Christmas. 

Freddy, age 21, shared that he and a companion went to a memorial service for Albin, honoring his mother, Jade Goody, who was the late Jackiey’s daughter.

I was so touched to see the incredible turnout at the recent service – I shared a peek on Instagram! Afterwards, I enjoyed a lovely walk through Southeast London with my furry best friend. It was the perfect way to spend the afternoon, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying some fresh air with my dog.

The photos didn’t include his grandmother, but he wrote that he visited his mother with his Nana and they took their dog, Pablo, for a long walk around Bermondsey and along the river.

Last November, Freddy revealed that he attempted suicide by deliberately crashing his car shortly before turning 18, during a period of intense emotional distress.

In a revealing TikTok video, he also posted a picture of his grandmother, Jackiey, and wrote: ‘I made an effort to build a relationship with my mother’s mother, only to find out she’d been deceiving me for years!’

It’s no secret that the duo have had a tumultuous relationship in recent times. 

Earlier this year, Freddy’s dad, Jeff Brazier, attempted to get a legal order to stop Jackiey from seeing his son, believing she wasn’t a good influence on him.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I’m just devastated thinking about it! Our amazing [Influencer’s Name] lost his mom, Jade, when he was only four years old. It’s just… heartbreaking. And now, next year, he and Holly Swinburn are going to have a baby, which is SO exciting, even though their relationship has been a bit on-and-off. I just want the best for him and his little one, especially knowing how much he’s been through.

Tragically the Big Brother star, died from cervical cancer on Mother’s Day in 2009.

Since her death, Jeff, has looked after Freddy and his older brother Bobby.

Jackiey, who is 68, stepped in to help raise Bobby and Freddy after their mother, Jade, passed away. However, she and Jeff haven’t always gotten along over the years and have had several disagreements.

Earlier this year, Jeff thought about going to court to prevent his son from seeing his grandmother, believing it was necessary for his son’s safety.

Oh my gosh, you guys, it looks like they’re finally okay! Jeff actually wished his son a Happy Birthday on social media back in September, and it was SO sweet – he said he’d always be there for him. I nearly cried! It’s like all the drama is finally over, and I’m just so relieved they’re trying to reconnect. It’s everything I’ve been hoping for!

In a preview of his podcast, ‘Load Of Old Cobblers,’ Freddy revealed he started smoking at age 12 and has struggled with his mental health, including experiencing manic episodes and requiring both rehab and psychiatric hospitalization.

‘There’s been a real journey and it’s been a tough one.

I was absolutely shocked to hear about what happened with Freddy and Holly last week. Apparently, Holly publicly accused Freddy of partying with other girls and using drugs, and she also went after his dad, Jeff, for supporting her while she’s pregnant. Freddy responded really strongly to all of it – it was a full-on clash, to say the least!

I’ve been following the news, and it’s so sad to hear Holly talking openly about her difficult experience with Freddy. She’s shared that life with him was incredibly challenging, and now she’s prioritizing raising their child as a single parent. It takes real strength to make those kinds of decisions and focus on what’s best for your family, and I wish her all the best as she navigates this new chapter.

Freddy strongly denied the claims after a tabloid newspaper published them, reportedly for around £5000. He angrily called the allegations “sick” and insisted they were false.

Holly said their relationship ended after Freddy hosted a party at her apartment while she was on vacation with her family. She was also upset that he didn’t care for Pablo, the dog he’d given her as a gift in July.

He assured friends this week that no large party took place at his home. He clarified it wasn’t a drug-fueled event either, explaining they simply smoked marijuana at his apartment and then he asked everyone to leave.

A friend of mine misplaced his ID, and she assumed something more was happening, but really we just smoked some marijuana and everyone went home.

She’s mentioned wanting to pursue further opportunities, like another interview or public statement, and has already indicated to me this week that she plans to do so soon. It feels inevitable.

Her words could lead to me losing clients and harm my relationship with my future child.
