Freddy Brazier, 20, insists he is not going to rehab as he admits ‘I need a boys holiday or retreat’ instead – after revealing smoking addiction since the age of 12

Freddy Brazier emphasized that he won’t be entering rehab – this statement comes only a few days after he announced his plans to get sober in Marbella.

17-year-old Jake Warnford-Brazier, son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody, recently shared with his followers that he’s struggled with a smoking addiction since the age of 12. He plans to seek treatment in the near future.

In a recent Instagram post, Freddy expressed that rather than going to rehab, he feels he would benefit more from taking a break with his friends, perhaps at a relaxing getaway.

In a post featuring an old black-and-white photograph of himself, he humorously remarked: “No rehab needed for me! What I truly need is a fun getaway with some great friends (or perhaps a peaceful retreat).

Previously, Freddy expressed sincere intentions of mending fences with his father, Jeff, who is 46 years old, following a disagreement within the family.

Openly acknowledging his situation, he posted on social media expressing his desire to transform his life, seek improved ways of dealing with challenges, and get acquainted with someone special.

News arrives only a few days following Freddy’s initial date with the influential figure, Tasha Newcombe (aged 22), at Glasshouse Terrace situated in London Bridge.

From a young age of 12, I found solace in smoking, but now I realize it’s become more than just a comfort – it’s an addiction. It was a mechanism I turned to when life got tough, a crutch that eventually became my norm. It gave me a sense of sanity and calmness I desperately needed. However, it’s time for a change. Time to break free from this bondage and find healthier ways to cope with the challenges life throws at me.

Here are some things I’ve recently discovered: a rehab center and a boxing club. I’ve also come across someone I’d like to develop a relationship with, which is exciting. Additionally, I’m pleased to say that I’ve made some great friends, and I’m taking the time to socialize and have fun.

I strive for cleanliness because it helps me lead a joyful life, foster strong connections with others, and always be available for my loved ones, instead of finding myself caught in the middle and needing to make difficult choices.

He went on to say, “I’ve struggled with love because I haven’t fully loved myself. That changes today. I aspire to play football, learn boxing, find happiness, and cultivate a healthy relationship – not just romantic, but also with my Nana, my father, and myself.

Last summer, Tasha, who was 21 at the time, made headlines for her romantic involvement with 16-year-old Marko Vituk, a resident of Maidstone.

However, it seems that she has left behind her relationship with GCSE-aged Marko, as she and Freddy enjoyed champagne together before heading to the Roxy Ball Room for their inaugural date on Thursday. This date coincided with what would have been Jade’s 44th birthday.

4-year-old Freddy, who gained fame on Celebrity Race Across the World, tragically lost his mother in 2009 due to cervical cancer. Since then, he’s been nurtured by his father Jeff.

After Freddy and his maternal granny Jackiey Budden were seen puffing on questionable cigarettes following their recent reconciliation, they continued to do so even though Freddy’s father is waging a legal battle to restrict their contact.

He was spotted spending time with his 68-year-old granny, in the vicinity of Tower Bridge in South London, among tourists, following the Mail On Sunday’s disclosure that Freddy had been residing with his maternal grandmother for a week.

Jackiey and Jeff have had disagreements on numerous occasions throughout the years. It emerged recently that the celebrity is pursuing legal measures to prevent any communication between his son and his grandma, allegedly for the sake of his son’s safety.

According to the Mail On Sunday, it was discovered that Freddy, previously prohibited from visiting Jackiey due to his father filing legal documents, unexpectedly spent a week at her residence in Bermondsey, following their reunion which went against his father’s attempts to maintain distance between them.

The family acquaintances assert that the pair are exceptionally tight, as they share: “Jeff wouldn’t have kept Freddy separated from his grandmother for too long – their connection has always been robust.

‘Jeff may hate her for all sorts of reasons going back many years, but Freddy loves her very much.

They enjoyed themselves immensely, spending time with her pet dog and reminiscing at her apartment, a place where he’s spent numerous nights throughout the years.

Later on, Freddy posted a TikTok video (which has since been removed) regarding his psychological well-being, including heartfelt images of him with his sibling Bobby and deceased mother Jade, accompanied by various messages expressing his emotional condition.

In this video, we hear Ricky Gervais’ poignant voice from his Netflix series After Life, expressing feelings of persistent sadness and a sense of no longer being the same person. Freddy’s clip incorporates these sentiments from the audio.

In a nutshell, my essence seems to have dwindled, leaving behind only the bare minimum. The joy that once filled me to the brim feels distant, as if it never existed at all. It’s as though I’ve become a shadow of myself, a mere echo of who I once was.

It seems people find me acceptable, if somewhat sharp-tongued these days. However, they might not realize that this is my new normal state, not a temporary lapse. The truth is, I’m not at my best, but I can still recall what it felt like to be ‘normal.’ So, I put on a show, so to speak, of how I used to be.

‘But this is what I really am and I want to be normal again. But I’m weak you know?’ 

In his post, Freddy wrote: “I’m a guy who keeps my emotions inside and doesn’t show my feelings often. They stay hidden most of the time.

Afterward, he posed a question to his male companions, encouraging them to express their emotional state honestly and share what was causing them distress.

His post was met with a plethora of supportive messages from fans. 

According to reports, Freddy is said to have missed Bobby’s birthday celebration due to his ongoing dispute with their father, Jeff, concerning his relationship with Freddy’s grandmother, Jackie.

22-year-old actor Bobby, best known for his role in EastEnders, celebrated his birthday on June 2nd. Interestingly, among the attendees were his father and stepmother, Kate, but his sibling was conspicuously missing from the festivities.

Although Freddy acknowledged his birthday online, his absence in person reportedly brought a sense of sadness among his family as they celebrated.

A source told The Sun: ‘It was a really nice family occasion but everyone really missed Freddy. 

‘Although he was invited, it’s apparent that he doesn’t want to attend, as he’s expressing his preferences about whom he wishes to socialize with.’

They noted: ‘He admitted seeing Bobby’s birthday online, yet there was a sense of melancholy because he wasn’t able to celebrate it in person with his brother.’

In March, Freddy shared that he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder in an open video discussing his struggles with mental health issues.
