Freakier Friday’s Popcorn Bucket Is Definitely Freaky And Fun
It’s hard to accept, but the long-anticipated sequel of “Freaky Friday” is almost here, less than a month away! The original cast, along with Pinkslip, will be back in action for the body-swapping film, so my ticket has already been secured. However, I’m ready to dig deeper into my wallet because, among other things, I can’t wait to grab the exclusive “Freakier Friday” popcorn bucket during the 2025 release. This bucket promises to be both spooky and fun!
In the trailer for the upcoming family-friendly movie, it appears that Anna and Tess Coleman will no longer be swapping bodies directly with each other. Instead, Anna will exchange bodies with her own daughter, while Tessa will do the same with her future granddaughter.
Given all the changes happening, it seems quite normal that Disney’s latest popcorn buckets might also follow suit. As @DiscussingFilm showcases, fans will adore the quirky and enjoyable merchandise for the movie “Freaky Friday”, have a peek:
Initially, when I laid eyes on the popcorn buckets from Freakier Friday, they appeared to be regular containers adorned with the movie’s poster. Upon closer inspection, however, I found myself questioning their purpose – is it for soda or popcorn? Or perhaps both? Intriguingly designed as pairs, these containers resemble standard drink sizes but have a hidden twist. Lift off the lid of one container and you discover it can be used to hold popcorn.
The principle applies to both containers: one resembles an ideal fit for a large serving of popcorn, while the other has a slot for a straw, making it suitable for drinks. By simply interchanging their designs, you essentially have them transforming roles! The creativity behind this design is a fantastic tribute to the plot twist in Freaky Friday, where characters exchange bodies and the ensuing humor.
It’s a genuine relief to know that, contrary to the movie’s title, I won’t have to be overly concerned about the popcorn bucket in “Freaky Friday”. I’m grateful that I won’t have to worry about characters like Lindsay Lohan or Jamie Lee Curtis having their heads split open, akin to the popcorn buckets in “M3GAN 2.0”. Although I appreciate the extravagant containers, such as the one for “Dune: Part 2”, I also enjoy simple yet amusing items like this one.
I’m equally excited to mention that this new popcorn bucket is another fantastic addition to our collection of merchandise inspired by top family films from this year. The lineup already includes the Toothless bucket from How to Train Your Dragon and the gyrosphere bucket from Jurassic World. The Freaky Friday bucket offers a perfect blend of lightheartedness, fun, and spookiness, making it an awesome addition that I’m looking forward to!
Anticipation for “Freaky Friday” sequel is running high, even though it hasn’t hit theaters yet. Based on audience feedback for the sequel, there was plenty of laughter, cheering, and singing. With Pinkslip’s “Take Me Away” making a return, I can’t wait to join in the singing too. The blend of nostalgia, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan sharing the screen again, and the promise of a popcorn and drink waiting at the concession stand, it seems like this movie is destined for success.
As you extend invitations for everyone to watch “Freakier Friday” on August 8th, remember to add some extra fun with the newly introduced popcorn/drink buckets! Regardless if it’s popcorn or soda, having your movie buddy along will definitely make the experience even more enjoyable.
