Frankie Bridge’s Shocking Reason for Not Wanting Husband Wayne’s Vasectomy

Frankie Bridge has revealed that she doesn’t want her husband Wayne to ever get a vasectomy.

As a devoted admirer, I find myself expressing my personal viewpoint: The singer from The Saturdays, aged 36, has shared that it wouldn’t sit well with her if the ex-footballer, aged 44, were to undergo the procedure, as there’s uncertainty about our future together. In case he eventually chooses to have children with a prospective partner, I hope he reconsiders the decision.

They both have two boys – Parker (age 11) and Carter (age 9), as well as a teenaged son named Jayden (age 18), who is Wayne’s child from his former relationship with Vanessa Perroncel.

Or, more concisely:

The family consists of sons Parker (11), Carter (9) and an older son, Jayden (18), whom Wayne shares with ex-partner Vanessa Perroncel.

Frankie has shared with The Sun, “To be straightforward, I’d prefer he doesn’t get one. After all, you can never predict the future.

Getting a vasectomy symbolizes the closing of a chapter for me; it does the same for him. Just to clarify, our future may not be intertwined, and he might desire more children.

‘There could be an unexpected event affecting me, but if that happens, he may still desire another child since men are capable of fathering children for extended periods.’

Frankie mentioned that she made the decision some time back not to have another child, since she had experienced severe sickness (Hyperemesis gravidarum) during pregnancy.

She shared that, having had two children, she felt it was time to regain control over her life and body. When the topic of another child arose, she noted that the age difference between her youngest and a potential newborn would be too substantial.

Frankie and Wayne wed in 2014 at Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire surrounded by their celebrity pals.

Recently this month, Frankie shared that she’s been battling a severe illness which has drained all her energy, as she confided in the public about her private health struggles.

As a die-hard admirer, I couldn’t help but share the latest update from my beloved Loose Women star. She recently poured her heart out on Instagram, revealing to her massive 1.5 million followers that she’s been battling gastroenteritis.

In the open video, Frankie disclosed that her immune system has been quite weak following repeated bouts with stomach inflammation, a condition known as gastroenteritis.

The performer, clad in a beige T-shirt and track pants, mentioned that she had undergone various examinations and was currently on antibiotics due to a problematic tooth.

From within her kitchen, Frankie checked in with everyone: “Hey there! It’s been a while since we chatted, and I wanted to let you all know that I haven’t been feeling well as of late. So I figured it was time for a quick catch-up.

It’s unusual for me, but I’ve experienced two consecutive bouts of stomach flu, which have left me quite weak and uncomfortable. My digestive system seems to have taken a significant hit, and it still feels quite vulnerable.

As a devoted health enthusiast, I’ve learned that gastroenteritis often stems from an inflammation in the stomach and intestines, typically triggered by viruses, bacteria, or parasites, as suggested by the NHS.

Commonly, it presents with issues such as diarrhea, throwing up, queasiness, and abdominal pain. However, it may also be accompanied by symptoms like fever, tiredness, and a headache.

Frankie explained, “My immune system has been quite weak, and during this period, I’ve undergone several tests. Unfortunately, I had to skip my regular doses of Symprove.

Besides everything else, I’ve been taking antibiotics due to a troublesome tooth. It seems that my immune system has significantly improved as a result.

The Saturday’s star concluded by telling fans she has since been ‘given the all clear’ by doctors.

She commented, “I’ve moved on completely this time, and I sincerely hope it stays that way as my doctor has given me the green light to return to my usual activities. It feels great to be back, and it’s nice to get back into a regular schedule again.

In other places, Frankie has recently shared some of her most significant disappointments that she experienced at the peak of her fame as a member of The Saturdays girl group.

She rose to fame alongside Rochelle Humes, Una Healy, Mollie King and Vanessa White in 2007.

The band came together following their selection among numerous contenders on the TV show S Club Search, which led them to open for a popular pop group.

However, she expressed on The Savoy Originals podcast that she wasn’t fond of all the hits they created during their peak popularity.

She mentioned: “Even if you didn’t care for it, that particular song was going to be released regardless of your feelings.

‘Some songs I dislike aren’t in my mind because I don’t appreciate them, yet I’m expected to promote them on TV as a ‘must-buy masterpiece’, even if I’m not fond of them and must still perform them.’

‘And that’s fine because some of them you like and some of them you don’t.’

The former singer-turned-TV personality disclosed that, despite their band’s tremendous achievements, they hadn’t accumulated sufficient wealth for her to retire comfortably.

Previously, the mother of two mentioned that she felt as if she was two distinct individuals during her involvement in the group. In social settings with the band, she had to put on a more public version of herself.

Discussing on the “So Wrong, It’s Right” podcast with Olivia Attwood, Frankie opened up about experiencing anxiety since her rapid rise to fame as part of S Club Juniors at a young age.

Frankie stated: “I didn’t attend traditional school; instead, we were homeschooled while traveling. It often leaves me feeling disoriented in terms of time, I believe I was around 15 years old when S Club Juniors concluded and the Saturdays began at age 17.

‘So, it was a little gap and I had a couple of like normal jobs in between.’

She expressed: “It seems that once you step away from popular music or television, regardless of your previous success, people tend to view you as having failed.

‘I always had stomach aches. Can you remember Pepto Bismol, the medicine, the pink horrible stuff?

‘That would be in my bag every day because I always had a funny tummy, like nervous stomach.

Before going to sleep, I had difficulty breathing and other such issues. I believe now that anxiety may have been present, although I wasn’t aware of it at the time.

She went on to say: “I used to get frequent blood tests, among other things. Nothing ever showed up, but clearly it isn’t as it is today, if you catch my drift.

‘But I for me, the first time I realized that it was a proper issue was actually in the Saturdays.

For a spell, when I got home from work, I’d head straight to bed, skip dinner, yearning only for the comfort of my bed, shedding tears, drifting off to sleep.

The bed served as a sanctuary for me, but I hadn’t realized that was inappropriate. It wasn’t until we were on tour and we had pre-show meet and greets that I recall standing outside the door to compose myself.

‘Taking a deep breath and thinking, right, be Frankie from the Saturdays.’
