Frankie Bridge admits she squandered the fortune from her early pop star days after finding fame at the age of 12 with S Club Juniors

Frankie Bridge has revealed she spent all the money she earned as a young pop star. She first became famous at age 12 with the group S Club Juniors and didn’t save her earnings.

The 36-year-old singer and TV personality first became well-known as a young performer, then rose to prominence as a member of the popular group The Saturdays.

In an interview on Spencer Matthews’ Big Fish podcast, she admitted she regretted not having any money left from her teenage earnings, saying, ‘I don’t have anything to show for it anymore.’

She said she believed her parents always felt they’d given her too much freedom with her money because they let her work from a young age, and as a result, they didn’t feel they could tell her how to spend it.

‘We didn’t have loads and loads.’

Frankie described being in control of her credit and debit cards from a young age too.

She explained that she had some control over the situation, recalling that she had her own bank card. She believes she only recently closed the account, just last week.

When she was in S Club Juniors, someone helped her start investing small amounts of money. However, she didn’t really think much about it at the time because she didn’t have any major expenses like a mortgage or bills.

Looking back, the money didn’t actually amount to very much. It would have been good to still have some of it, though.

She played in a band with Rochelle Humes, and they later both became members of The Saturdays.

Frankie recently shared a story on her podcast about being locked out of her Paris Airbnb for seven hours in the middle of the night.

Frankie Bridge, who used to be in the band The Saturdays, traveled to Paris by train on Wednesday to see the Radica Studio fashion show during Paris Fashion Week.

She attended the show with her friends and coworkers from Faves, and they all stayed together in an Airbnb during the trip.

When Frankie and her friends got back from the show and a night out, they discovered their apartment door was locked – and they couldn’t get in. After seven hours, they were still locked outside.

Frankie used her Instagram Story to share a photo of herself with a friend, sitting outside their rental. She criticized Airbnb and the host for not providing adequate assistance.

She shared that she and three other women were locked out of their Airbnb because the lock wasn’t working.

‘Everything’s stuck inside, the host and Airbnb are anything but helpful. 3 hours and counting…’

She posted a screenshot of the host’s reply, which said: ‘We’ve never had issues once guests are already inside the apartment.’

‘Just turn the key in the right direction, hold it turned, and push the door at the same time.’

Referencing the response, Frankie wrote: ‘Helpful… Why didn’t we think of this?!’

Hours later, at around 4am, Frankie shared another update as she wrote: ‘Still not in… 7 hours.’
