Frail Katie Price looks unrecognisable as she reunites with daughter Princess Andre, 18, after her reality show caused a vicious feud

As someone who follows celebrity lifestyles, I have to say it was heartwarming to see Katie Price and her daughter Princess reconnecting this week. After a difficult time and some public family drama stemming from her reality show, Katie seemed a bit downcast, and honestly, almost unrecognizable. It’s lovely to see them putting things behind them and enjoying time together.

People have become concerned about 47-year-old Katie Price’s weight recently, as she’s appeared very thin. She’s had some medical tests to investigate.

She shared three months ago that she’d been hospitalized due to significant and mysterious weight loss.

Katie’s son, Junior, age 20, says she’s doing well. He told the Daily Mail before Christmas that the whole family – including his father, Peter Andre, 52 – is happier than ever.

She recently reunited with Princess, who is 18 years old, after being prevented from being in the first season of her ITV show, The Princess Diaries.

Reports suggest she’ll be appearing with her daughter in the second season of the show. The pair seemed very close recently when they were spotted walking arm-in-arm during a day out together.

Junior recently told the Daily Mail, ‘People don’t really understand her the way we do.’

She’s doing really well and is a very affectionate person – we all adore her. We’re excited to see her at Christmas, and I visit her house constantly.

People will always have opinions about my parents and my family, but ultimately, they aren’t the ones living my life. It’s important to remember that.

People only see what’s on the surface, but honestly, I’m happier with my family now than I’ve ever been.

Honestly, everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but they just don’t get it. They’re hearing it from me – we’re amazing right now, seriously the best we’ve ever been, and they have no idea!

Things got particularly tense for his parents earlier this year when Katie claimed Pete wouldn’t let her film with their daughter, Princess, for her reality show. However, Junior says this family drama hasn’t damaged his relationships with them.

The show included Princess’s father, Peter, his wife Emily MacDonagh, and her brother Junior. Katie Price wasn’t involved, as Princess’s team had asked them not to include her.

Junior’s bond with his sister, Princess, was a central focus of her reality show, which also showcased her close friendships with Pete and Emily.

Fans won’t be seeing Peter Andre in the upcoming seasons of The Princess Diaries. Reports from the Daily Mail in November indicated that both Peter and Emily Andre won’t be involved in seasons two and three, which are currently being filmed, due to the issues the show caused with Katie Price.

Following Katie’s public complaints about being left out of projects related to their daughter, Princess, and her ex-husband’s management of her career, Pete revealed on Instagram that he has had full custody of the children they share since 2018.

Katie Price recently shared health updates on her podcast, revealing doctors are worried about her low blood pressure. She described herself as being very thin, referring to herself as a ‘stick woman’.

Katie explained that her mother, Amy, was really pushing her to make a doctor’s appointment. She told her sister, Sophie, that all she’d been hearing, especially with places being closed, was constant questions about whether she’d called the doctor yet.

‘I’m like, “Yes, mum. I went to the doctors today.” I screenshotted the appointment.’

Sophie asked: ‘Did you actually though? Because mum has been speaking to me about this.’

Katie confirmed she was going to discuss all the necessary tests – blood work, MRIs, everything the doctor requested – to figure out the reason for the issue, and jokingly referred to a diagram as depicting a ‘stick woman’ instead of a ‘stick man’.

The mother of five explained that doctors had to check her blood pressure three times because they initially thought the readings were too low to be accurate.

In October, Katie revealed she’d been hospitalized due to significant weight loss. While she first admitted she’d been trying to lose weight, she later explained that the extent of the loss was unexpected and concerning, requiring doctors to run tests to figure out what was happening.

Katie shared on Snapchat that she’s undergoing tests because she’s noticed she’s losing weight, and she’s not sure why.

She started by explaining she’d gone to the doctor early for blood tests, but they had trouble getting the sample because her veins are difficult to access, and it took three tries.

They weren’t able to collect enough blood for both tests, so I need to return in two weeks to finish them. At that appointment, they’ll also remove my stitches from the small cut I got.

Katie explained she’s seeing a doctor because she’s been losing weight unintentionally and doesn’t understand the cause.
