NetEase in partnership with developer Bad Guitar has revealed that FragPunk’s Season 1 Chapter 2 is set to release next week. This announcement also includes the long-awaited console introduction of the game.
This update brings a high-skilled Lancer attacker to the game, along with a new map for Team Deathmatch called “Kepler Station: Aesir”. The dual-deck Outbreak mode will be revamped, and two additional arcade modes will be added for more excitement. Over 70 new Shard Cards are included in this chapter, and fresh card content is being added to Shard Clash, Outbreak Mode, and Team Deathmatch as well.
In addition to Outbreak Mode, players can look forward to introducing Survivor/Parasite-focused dual decks and Shard Cards for more intricate gameplay strategies. On the other hand, Arcade mode will feature Classic Clash (without Shard Cards), Headshot Only match types, as well as the reintroduction of Blitz Ballet and Chaos Clash. Moreover, a refresh of the Battle Pass is imminent.
On the 29th of April, FragPunk is set to debut on both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, coinciding with the start of Season 1 Chapter 2.
