FragPunk Late-April Console Release Date Nailed Down

As an eager enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that NetEase and the talented minds at Bad Guitar Studio have finally unveiled a late-April launch for FragPunk, their exhilarating 5v5 shooter game, on consoles! After a last-minute postponement in March for fine-tuning, this free-to-play adrenaline rush is now just around the corner. Can’t wait to jump into the fray!

Bad Guitar stated in a press release that the upcoming version of their release has been carefully fine-tuned for seamless control play, offering improved graphics and a progression system that syncs across platforms, promising a one-of-a-kind gaming adventure.

To compensate for the late release of the console version, FragPunk is providing generous incentives to console gamers. These rewards are available from the beginning of Season 1 up until April 29th, which marks the console’s official launch date. Moreover, console players who bought the Pioneer Bundle will be entitled to extra benefits post-console launch.

On April 29th, the console edition of “FragPunk” will become available on both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. This version allows cross-play and cross-progression with the PC version, ensuring a fair gaming experience for all players by offering aim assist and optimized controls to reduce the differences between controller and keyboard/mouse input.
