On Wednesdays, it was revealed that Fox News will be premiering a fresh Sunday program featuring their seasoned White House correspondents, Peter Doocy and Jacqui Heinrich.
Starting next time, “The Sunday Briefing,” a fresh Washington-based program, will take over the time slot previously occupied by “MediaBuzz,” an established media critique show led by Howie Kurtz, which used to air at 11 a.m. Eastern.
Heinrich and Doocy are set to take turns hosting “The Sunday Briefing” individually, a role they’ve both assumed since 2021 while covering the White House for Fox News.
Fox News announced that their upcoming show, launching on September 21st, will delve into various aspects of the White House coverage. This includes examining the actions of the U.S. President both domestically and internationally, as well as major matters influencing the current administration.
38-year-old Peter Doocy, son of the “Fox & Friends” show’s anchor Steve Doocy, has become well-known due to his challenging questions posed at the White House press briefings during the tenure of the Biden administration.
36-year-old Heinrich is a well-regarded journalist based in Washington, recognized for his unbiased news coverage on a conservative-tilting broadcast channel. His commitment to factual reporting has on occasion rubbed certain figures within the Trump administration and pro-president pundits at the network the wrong way.
Since 2013, Kurtz has been the host of “MediaBuzz.” As of now, he’ll stay with the network, working as a political media analyst, and will also carry on hosting his podcast. His last television show will air this Sunday.

Kurtz transitioned from CNN, where he initially hosted “Reliable Sources,” a media critique show, to Fox. However, the program ended its run under the leadership of Brian Stelter in 2022.
A new weekend talk show titled “Saturday in America with Kayleigh McEnany” is set to debut on Fox News, featuring former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. The program is scheduled to run for two hours every weekend, starting at 10 a.m. Eastern time.
Kayleigh McEnany began working for Fox News as a commentator in March 2021, eventually being appointed as a co-host on the daily afternoon talk show “Outnumbered”. She will carry on performing this role.
Fox News announced that Griff Jenkins will now serve as the co-host for the weekend edition of “Fox & Friends.” Since Pete Hegseth’s departure to work in the Trump administration as the Secretary of Defense, they have been using various hosts for the program.
Jenkins, who has been a Fox News correspondent since 2003, will join Rachel Campos-Duffy and Charlie Hurt as co-hosts on the weekend edition of “Fox & Friends”.
Fox News announced that Tomi Lahren, a well-known conservative commentator, and Johnnie Jones, an Iraq war veteran, will now serve as permanent co-hosts for the weekend discussion program “The Weekend Big Show.
