Fox FM Star’s Horrific Crash

Fox FM’s Tim Lee has been seriously injured after a motorbike accident saw him break his pelvis.

On Friday, the Workday presenter, who joined the radio station in 2019, was unfortunately injured in a car accident in South Melbourne and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

The radio host posted photos from his recovery process on Instagram, adding humor and cynicism to make things feel less serious.

Lee jokingly remarked, ‘No such injuries as brain trauma, broken fingers, or spinal fracture occurred – quite the contrary! It wasn’t until a Volkswagen suddenly turned without signaling while I was exiting work to take my seven days of annual leave that such an event transpired!!’

In reality, it’s important to understand that Tim’s back injury wasn’t something to joke about. He acknowledged that he was fortunate to have escaped with only minor injuries.

The bruise isn’t good, the helmet is damaged beyond repair, but the fractured pelvis is undoubtedly the most severe issue. I’d give it zero stars.

In the grand scheme, I had a relatively minor setback. Life can be unpredictable, but it’ll serve as a reminder to be extra cautious when I resume my activities in about 3-4 months.

After the incident, I couldn’t help but express my heartfelt gratitude to my radio team and each one of you who extended your support. Now, let me share a word of caution with those who hit the roads: be extra careful out there!

‘Everyone; please use your indicators! Would’ve saved me a lot of heartache

‘It did mean I got to try fentanyl though, so swings and roundabouts…’ he quipped.

In one photo, Tim could be seen lying on a hospital gurney as he took a selfie in the light above.

Additional images depicted the crash site, with his motorbike appearing badly damaged on the road, directly before a Volkswagen that sported a significant dent on its front end.

Another snap showed the radio presenter smiling in a neck brace as he was surrounded by family.

While Lee recovers, he will be covered in the studio by Ellie Angel-Mobbs and Brad Wood.

At the beginning of March, Brendan Fevola unexpectedly shared with his fellow hosts on Fox FM that he was planning to leave the show.

44-year-old ex-AFL champion and popular radio personality has shared with his audience that he will be participating in the upcoming season of Channel Ten’s The Amazing Race, which means he’ll be away for a while.

‘I’m leaving the show… not for good, though,’ he began.

Last year, I was fortunate enough to have a chance to embark on a global journey alongside my 18-year-old daughter Leni, for the television series The Amazing Race. Unfortunately, I won’t be participating in the show starting from next Monday.

As a lifestyle connoisseur speaking here, I, along with my co-host Fifi Box, extended our warmest wishes to Brendan, hoping for his swift return. I inquired, with genuine curiosity, about the timeline of his anticipated comeback.

‘I might be gone for a few days or even two weeks, depending on my elimination time. The competition itself doesn’t concern me; it’s more about whether Leni and I will clash or not. If we do, that could lead to our elimination – he joked.’

Brendan has co-hosted the top-rating Fox Melbourne breakfast show since April 2016.

Initially, when he started working there, it was called “Fifi, Dave, and Fev.” He co-hosted with Fifi Box and Dave Thornton.

In 2017, Thornton stepped down from his position, and since 2021, the lineup for the show consists of Brendan, Fifi, and Nick Cody.
