Following The International, teams often make changes to their lineups, and BetBoom Team is continuing that trend. They’ve decided to bench player Pure and coach boolk.
Following The International, BetBoom Team has significantly altered its lineup by benching both Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko and Anatoly “boolk” Ivanov. While numerous teams have made changes during this roster shuffle period, BetBoom’s decision is particularly noteworthy and impactful.
It goes to show that not even a fourth place at TI can’t keep away the roster shuffle blues.
Pure and boolk benched by BetBoom Team

Following the changes after The International (TI), many teams and players are currently looking for new opportunities or rebuilding their rosters. BetBoom Team had a year of ups and downs in 2025. They achieved some victories, including winning PGL Wallachia Season 5, which led to a hopeful start at TI 2025. While they didn’t quite reach the top three, finishing in fourth place was still a great result for the team. Despite this success, the recent player shuffle means that Pure and boolk are departing from the active roster.
BetBoom announced on their Telegram account that they have benched both Pure and boolk. Pure, who has played for the team for nearly 3 years, is now without a team. However, in a recent statement, Pure indicated that he does have plans for his future in Dota 2.
I’m grateful to the organization and all my teammates for this incredible experience, and to the fans for their unwavering support. I’m excited about what the future holds and looking forward to the next chapter.”

Regarding coach Boolk, he shared that he’s planning to take a few months to prioritize personal well-being before potentially returning to Dota 2.
Currently, neither BetBoom nor Pure has announced what’s next for them. BetBoom does have a reserve player, Andrei “bottega” Kopytko, but it’s not yet known if he will take over for Pure.
Currently, the BB Team doesn’t have any tournaments scheduled and is waiting for invitations. With major events like PGL Wallachia Season 6, BLAST Slam V, and DreamLeague Season 27 still happening this year, it’s very probable we’ll see BetBoom’s updated roster compete sometime in 2025. We’ll also be watching to see where Pure ends up playing.
