Fortnite’s Halloween ‘Fortnitemares’ Event Now Live With New Boom Billy Chainsaw and Return of Horde Rush

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Fortnitemares 2024 has truly outdone itself this year! The return of explosive weapons like the Boom Billy chainsaw and the Unvaulted Underworld arsenal has me reminiscing about my childhood Halloween nights, when I would terrorize the neighborhood with a homemade pumpkin bomb.

2024’s Fortnitemares event is now active within Fortnite Battle Royale, introducing powerful weaponry, a reprise of the Horde Rush Limited Time Mode (LTM), along with numerous tasks and incentives for players to engage in.

Among the selection of powerful explosive items is the Boom Billy chainsaw, together with weapons from Unvaulted Underworld such as the Wood Stake Shotgun, Pumpkin Launcher, and Witch Broom. Additionally, Horde Rush will be available during this year’s Fortnitemares event, featuring Mod Benches, challenges, waves of Cube Monsters, a final boss to conquer, and more!

By finishing Horde Rush Quests and Rocket Racing Nitemares Quests, you’ll also gain experience towards your Fortnitemares XP Quests, which can unlock items like The Fangler Bass, Jack-o’-Drifter Contrail, Fiendish Wand Pickaxe, and other rewards. All the fun of this year’s Fortnitemares celebration will continue until the end of Chapter 5 Season 4.

In the Fortnite Store, you’ll currently discover spooky outfits such as Billy the Puppet, Pumpkin King and Sally, Mephisto, Edward Scissorhands, Disney villains Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, and Captain Hook, She-Venom and Agony, Leatherface, and Ravemello. Additionally, you have the opportunity to join the Battle Royale Duos ‘Symbiote Cup’ on 22nd October, which grants you a chance to unlock the She-Venom and Agony Outfits before they become available in the Shop.
