As a gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of nostalgia upon hearing that Fortnite OG is making a permanent return. I remember the good old days when the Battle Royale genre was still fresh and exciting, and Fortnite was the game to beat. The original map, the loot drops, the seasons – it’s all coming back!
According to Epic Games, Fortnite OG will make its comeback in December, and this time the return is said to be permanent.
The official Fortnite Twitter account has announced that “OG” is returning permanently. You can once again experience the original Battle Royale, traverse the classic map, gather traditional loot, and revisit the early seasons.
Approaching a full year has passed since the initial release of Fortnite OG, causing a substantial increase in players for this widely played free-to-play battle royale game. Given these circumstances, it’s hardly unexpected that Epic Games plans to reintroduce it.
Starting from December 6th, the original version of Fortnite (OG) will return as a permanent feature. However, it won’t replace the current, more modern version of Fortnite. Instead, both versions will coexist, giving players an opportunity to relive some nostalgia by experiencing how Fortnite was in its earlier days.
preparations are underway for the return of the original version! Dive back into the classic Battle Royale, traverse the original map, gather traditional loot, and reexperience iconic seasons. Get ready to land again starting December 6.
