As a seasoned gamer with years of Battle Royale experience under my belt, the news that Fortnite is now available on iPad within the European Union has me jumping for joy! This game has been a staple in my gaming arsenal for far too long to be absent from my mobile device.

Fortnite is officially available on iPad in countries apart of the European Union.

If you’re someone who enjoys playing games on your mobile device and have been looking forward to experiencing Fortnite on your iPad, then I have some exciting news! As of now, Fortnite has officially launched for iPad users residing within the European Union.

Back a few years ago, I found myself right in the middle of a significant disagreement between Fortnite and Apple over pricing for in-game purchases. To my disappointment, Epic Games wasn’t getting a cut from these transactions. This isn’t just an issue with Fortnite; it’s something Apple has been grappling with other services like Twitch as well. On Apple devices, buying subscriptions on Twitch costs more compared to other platforms.

As a gamer, I found myself in a pickle when Epic Games and Apple couldn’t see eye-to-eye on something, leading to Apple removing Fortnite from their App Store.

Approximately a year ago, the European Union found Apple guilty in a dispute, paving the way for Fortnite’s reinstatement in certain European territories. Now, it has been officially launched for use on iPad.
