Fortnite Festival Will Be Getting Local 4-Player Multiplayer Soon
The “Fortnite Festival Season 7″ kicks off tomorrow, featuring virtual artist Hatsune Miku, along with a fresh Music Pass offering both free and premium perks, such as a Hatsune Miku costume. Additionally, local multiplayer is set to debut.
As a devoted fan, I’m excited to share that the Music Pass is coming and it’ll cost 1,400 V-Bucks or through Fortnite Crew subscription. The XP you earn from any Fortnite adventure will contribute to your rewards track progress. Plus, local multiplayer lets you form a band of up to four players, performing together on the Festival Main Stage!
To participate in online gameplay, each player needs an active Epic Games account along with a subscription service like Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus. Unfortunately, guest accounts won’t be allowed to join. Prior to hitting the Festival Main Stage as a team, you can start a party in the Lobby. In addition to new jam tracks, instruments, and Battle Stage modes, we’ll also introduce Hatsune Miku items for purchase in the Shop, along with Content Creation options.
I’m super excited to share that I’ll be diving back into the thrilling world of Fortnite with the launch of Season 7, starting from January 14th! The latest update v33.20 will kick things off, and we’ll keep battling it out until April 8th. Can’t wait to see what new adventures await us in this epic season!
