Formula 1: 2024 Qatar qualifying updates, full starting lineup

As a seasoned gamer with a passion for Formula 1 racing that spans over two decades, I am beyond thrilled to witness the penultimate race of the record-breaking 2024 season at the Qatar Grand Prix this Sunday! The Lusail International Circuit has proven to be a challenging yet exciting track, and I eagerly await the 57-lap battle around its 16 turns.

This coming Sunday, the almost-concluded 2024 Formula 1 season’s second-to-last race, the Qatar Grand Prix, will be held at Lusail International Circuit.

On Sunday, we’ll be racing for 57 laps on a 3.343-mile, 16-turn road course situated in Lusail, Al Daayen, Qatar. In simpler terms, prepare for a long race of about 5.381 kilometers with numerous turns in Lusail, Qatar.

The track made its debut on the Formula 1 calendar in 2021. Despite signing a 10-year contract afterward, it didn’t reappear until 2023. This delay occurred because the 2022 FIFA World Cup took place in Qatar during the same period when the race was scheduled to take place.

In both instances where this competition was held, the victor has always been the one starting from the pole position. Specifically, Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes emerged triumphant in 2021, while Max Verstappen clinched it for Red Bull in 2023. Remarkably, neither race witnessed a switch in the lead; instead, the driver starting first maintained control from start to finish.
