Former Take That star Jason Orange keeps a low profile on rare public sighting as he strolls through rainy London in a parka 11 years after quitting the band

Previously known member of the band Take That, Jason Orange, was spotted making a relatively unnoticed appearance during a wet day in London.

Previously recognized as a vocalist, now aged 54, gained stardom when he became a member of the initial team of the popular music group in 1990. He shared the spotlight with beloved figure Gary Barlow (age 54), Howard Donald (age 57), Robbie Williams (age 51), and Mark Owen (age 53).

But Jason left the hugely successful band for a quieter life out of the spotlight back in 2014.

In a rare appearance, Jason was seen out in London on Monday, braving the rain with his hood up.

He donned a long olive coat over a light-toned grey pullover (hoodie), paired with roomy grey pants that were tucked neatly into his boots.

Although Jason often claimed that his fellow band members were as close as brothers, the vocalist left the group over a decade back and has mostly kept a low profile since then.

It was reported in January by The Sun that the 90s celebrity has ventured into a fresh field, taking on a co-ownership role at property enterprise Nine The Firs and joining forces with Leicester City football great Neil Lennon in this new endeavor.

According to the source, Jason and Neil have been acquainted for quite some time, and they participated in a charity football match together several years ago.

It was shared that Neil and Jason have joined forces. While Jason tends to keep a low profile and steer clear of the limelight, he possesses a remarkable talent for real estate.

The source mentioned that the star had previously secured a spot for someone and handled it in a charming and skilled manner. It is said that the client found him both delightful and competent.

In 2014, Jason decided to leave the band as he had been yearning to depart from the group for quite a while and felt no enthusiasm towards working on and publicizing a fresh album.

After Robbie left the group in 1995, it was Gary, Mark, and Howard who carried on as a thriving three-piece band.

After a ten-year absence from the music world, Take That reformed as a trio in 2006; however, it was Jason who chose not to participate in the music scene during their ten-year hiatus.

He opted instead to try his hand at acting in a variety of stage productions.

Instead of attending the bustling London social scene, it is said that he chose a more tranquil lifestyle, preferring peaceful evenings at unassuming locations near his hometown, Manchester.

In May 2023, Take That returned from a hiatus and made their first appearance in four years at the Coronation Concert for King Charles III held at Windsor Castle, but Jason did not join his bandmates for this performance.

In June 2023, Mark shared with The Times that he believed Jason might have lost interest, but he wouldn’t presume to speak on his behalf.

It turns out that Jason is still around, reminding us of a time when we were discussing who has the best sense of humor within our band. We even recalled instances where he would chuckle before reaching the punchline.

Lead singer Gary earlier stated to The Sun, “Jason won’t be rejoining us. For the upcoming years, Take That will be composed of Mark, Howard, and myself.

In 2018, Howard disclosed that Jason had ceased taking phone calls following his decision to retreat into secluded rural living, aiming for a more ordinary lifestyle.

Speaking to both The Mirror and the Loose Women, I shared my thoughts: “Jason seems to have disappeared from the digital world. No emails, no calls – it appears he’s gone off-grid. Honestly, I think it’s great for him.

‘That’s where he wants to be. I think he wants to be a million miles away from this at the moment.’

It is said that the celebrity apparently abandoned the lively London social scene, preferring peaceful evenings at more subdued locations near his hometown, Manchester.

In a chat with Metro, Gary mentioned that they occasionally get updates from their bandmate, Jason.

1. If your response to the email fails, it’s because the issue is larger than we realize. His decision to disconnect from his old life was due to him no longer wanting it anymore.

2. Your email reply not working indicates a bigger problem than we anticipated. He chose to sever ties with his previous life because he no longer desired it.

3. The failure of your email response suggests a larger issue than expected. His decision to disconnect from his old lifestyle stems from his lack of interest in it anymore.

4. When you can’t reply to the email, it shows there’s more going on than meets the eye. He decided to leave his past life behind because he no longer cared for it.

5. If your email response doesn’t go through, it reveals a deeper problem. His decision to distance himself from his old life was due to him losing interest in it.

If you were 20, you might initiate the conversation, but given his maturity, it’s important to acknowledge his preference not to engage. It wasn’t easy for us to see him leave.

Gary also admitted that Jason ‘didn’t want any creative involvement’ and ‘wanted to leave’.
