The world of mobile gaming is about to welcome a fresh contender, as former NFL player Morgan Kane and ex-producer from Activision, Joel Balyeat, have teamed up to establish a new mobile game development studio. Named Marauder Tech Games, this independent studio aims to innovate and create strategic games, with Morgan Kane leading the way in terms of business direction and Joel Balyeat providing creative oversight.
Marauder Tech Games already has its first turn-based strategy title under development and is inching closer to a release
The studio is currently working on their inaugural project, focusing on high-end strategic games. Consequently, they are already crafting their first release, which will be a turn-based game. Their ambition is to ascend as leaders in the industry with Morgan Kane and Joel Balyeat collaborating to bring their aspirations to fruition.
“Marauder originated over a decade ago as an idea, born from my passion for strategy games. However, I lacked the necessary resources to establish a game studio back then. Fast forward to April 2023, I took the leap and hired my first developer. Now, over a year later, we’re ready to gradually reveal what we’ve been meticulously creating for the past year and a half. Our aim with Marauder’s inaugural game is to offer a distinct perspective on the turn-based genre.” – Morgan Kane.
Marauder Tech Games strives to create an environment where seasoned professionals and emerging talents can thrive side by side, offering equal chances for all. The team aspires to achieve global acclaim, leveraging Joel Balyeat’s extensive expertise to make this vision a reality. As previously mentioned, the studio is currently working on their debut medieval turn-based game, blending traditional RPG elements with innovative gameplay mechanics.

We’re currently hard at work on our inaugural project, and the future is brimming with plans for further releases.
