Former Love Island star looks  unrecognisable as she emulates Pamela Anderson’s legendary Barb Wire for Halloween – but can YOU guess who it is?

As I delve into this intriguing tale of reality TV and unrequited love, I can’t help but feel a pang of empathy for Samantha. Here we have a young woman who dared to dream, to step out of her comfort zone, and to pursue a connection on the romantic hotbed that is Love Island.

She divided fans during an eventful two-week stay in the Love Island villa. 

Five months following the conclusion of the ITV2 dating show, the makeup artist aged 27 appears noticeably changed in several recent pictures that have been shared.

Instead, we could say that she’s swapping out her minimal beach attire for alluring faux-leather outfits in preparation for Halloween.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but notice that the ex-islander from Liverpool has gone for the iconic look inspired by Barb Wire, the comic book character made unforgettable by Pamela Anderson in her role as Baywatch star back in 1996. She’s sporting blonde hair, a skin-tight catsuit, and the distinctive tattoo that’s synonymous with this legendary character.

But who is it?  

That’s right – it’s Samantha Kenny!  

The television host has assumed a sequence of alluring postures while interacting with followers on social media, giving recognition to hairstylist Liv Doherty and makeup artist Holly Hickey for their contributions.

Referring to Canadian star Pamela in an accompanying caption, she wrote: ‘Sammy Anderson.’

Samantha spent just 16 days in the Love Island villa, during which she was briefly coupled with The Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex – the show’s first celebrity contestant.   

Later, she countered criticism from internet bullies who labeled her as someone seeking fame and a devoted fan of TOWIE, for dating a frequent figure in the reality show.

A Liverpudlian individual shared with TopMob that they used to watch the ITVBe reality show during their teenage years, primarily because of Gemma Collins. If they had encountered Joey from Love Island outside of that show, it wouldn’t have caught them by surprise at all.

For two weeks, Samantha had been paired with Joey, but when Grace Jackson, an old flame, made a surprise appearance on the show as a shock factor, she found herself observing as Joey and his past lover reignited their relationship.

However, following Samantha’s departure from the island, Joey found himself drawn towards the latest arrival, Jessy Potts, while Grace seemed to be overlooked.

During an exclusive conversation, Samantha expressed: “Jessy has experienced my emotions now. Notably, Jessy kissed Joey on the terrace, yet she did so on the daybeds where I was present. She’s tasted a bit of what she dished out herself.

Samantha shared: “I thought I’d find Kev the carpenter on Love Island, but instead, Joey Essex appeared. I haven’t watched TOWIE in ages, but back when I was a teenager, I used to tune in for Gemma Collins and Bobby Norris – they were unforgettable characters.” She didn’t care much about Joey; it was all about the GC (Gemma Collins) and Bobby Norris who are true icons.

I’m familiar with a few people from TOWIE, so it wasn’t a surprise to see Joey Essex; instead, I thought ‘oh my God, there’s Joey,’ because he appeared on the program.

I wouldn’t have given him a second glance if I’d run into him at a party, but his appearance on Love Island came as such a surprise.

Critics accused Samantha of being drawn to Joey because of his fame, and they made fun of her on the internet following her admission that she enjoyed watching TOWIE.

She added: ‘People said I was fame hungry and a Joey Essex fan girl… no I’m not, I’m a Gemma Collins fan, growing up.’

When Joey rekindled his relationship with Grace, the woman he had dated the previous year following their encounter on vacation, Samantha found herself shedding tears.

She observed a couple deeply kissing in front of her, an incident that added more sorrow and discomfort to her already troubled state.

Samantha expressed that she felt incredibly upset… Instead of fulfilling my request within two weeks, he completed it for someone else in just four hours. That didn’t sit well with me, and to make matters worse, I was still present. It made me feel like saying, “Don’t overlook me, remember I am still here.

In the end, I’m no different than any other woman; regardless if we were off Love Island or elsewhere, it certainly wasn’t an ideal circumstance.

Initially, Joey was the initial celebrity to step into the Love Island villa as a participant throughout the series, yet Samantha opines that it isn’t ideal for producers to frequently repeat this practice.

She notes that Joey behaved distinctly from the other Islanders because of his television background, and she feels that it would be fair for the producers to offer an opportunity to someone who is more ordinary.

Samantha said: ‘I’m not going to lie… I think Love Island should be kept the way it was.

Having spent over a decade in the limelight, I’ve grown accustomed to seeing familiar faces return to reality TV shows, but there was something unique about Joey this time around. It wasn’t just his islander status or the fact that he’s been on our screens before – it was more than that. There was a seasoned professionalism about him that set him apart from the others. Perhaps I was biased due to my own background in entertainment, but I could tell that Joey had been honing his craft for years, and it showed.
