As a dedicated follower of Tony Bellew’s journey, I can’t help but admire his unyielding spirit and resilience that shines through even in the most unexpected situations. His latest encounter with a roadside bully is yet another testament to his indomitable character. It seems that no matter the challenge, Tony stands tall, ready to face it head-on, even if it means stepping out of his car and potentially smelling some unpleasant odors.
As an over-the-top fan, I can’t help but share the latest buzz: “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’s” Tony Bellew has spilled the beans about a heated roadside altercation that left him on foot, with his wife pleading for him to hop back into the car!
41-year-old boxer from Liverpool, who hails from Liverpool, disclosed that he stopped his vehicle to confront a rude driver, whom he referred to as a bully, after receiving a signal to halt while traveling with his loved ones, as reported by The Sun.
During his appearance on Michael McIntyre’s show The Wheel, he was queried whether anyone driving on the road has ever attempted to stop him.
He admitted that there had been one instance where his wife, Rachael Roberts, demanded he return to the car in an effort to de-escalate a situation by shouting at him.
He said: ‘A guy told me to pull over on the motorway not so long ago, so I happily obliged.

‘I pulled over and he pulled in right behind me.
I quickly exited the vehicle, moving in his direction, and I was roughly six to seven meters away from him.
Michael, 48, added: ‘And you could smell poo!’
Tony, the dad of four, went on to say: “He gazed at me and simply declared, ‘I’m not a professional boxing world champion.’
After my wife exited the vehicle, she exclaimed, “Hold on, hold on, hold up!” To which I responded, “But he instructed us to pull over, so I did.
‘He was a bully and there’s nothing worse in life than a bully.
‘He expected the small little man to get out of the car.’
TopMob reached out to Tony’s representatives for a comment.

During his time in the jungle, Tony managed to capture the hearts of many by forging a delightful bond with the series victor, Sam Thompson.
During their time in the jungle, Tony and Sam developed a strong bond of friendship, even though Sam’s constant energy and unending zeal occasionally rubbed Tony, the boxer, the wrong way.
Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel airs Saturday at 8:05pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
