Former Emmerdale Star Announces Exciting Baby News After Controversial Exit!

Asan N’jie has revealed his girlfriend Kirsty is pregnant with their first child.

30-year-old former Emmerdale star announced his girlfriend Kirsty’s pregnancy on Instagram during their recent baby shower celebration.

In the television series, it was Asan who posted a picture featuring Kirsty, flaunting her expanding belly in a stylish outfit, during a party to celebrate her pregnancy.

I couldn’t help but be captivated by her radiant glow, as she graced us in a snug, pristine white gown, beautifully showcasing her growing bundle of joy. With a heartwarming smile, she tenderly placed her hand on her belly, proudly posing for the camera, embodying pure joy and anticipation.

In the caption that accompanied it, Asan stated they would be welcoming a baby boy in February, expressing his excitement by saying, “I can’t wait to meet my little baby boy!

A few short days after that, Asan shared yet another picture on social media, this time showing him snuggled with Kirsty in a hospital setting, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their newborn son.

He wrote alongside the image: ‘Getting ready for the sleepless nights.’

Though the pair haven’t officially announced if they’ve had their first baby, Kirsty lately posted on Instagram hinting at a “new phase” in their lives.

In early February, she shared a series of pictures showing the nursery all prepared for their upcoming baby, clearly brimming with anticipation for her role as a mother.

It’s unclear for how long Asan and Kirsty have been a couple, however, he started appearing in her Instagram posts from July 2023.

Asan rose to fame as Ellis Chapman, the stepson of Marlon Dingle, on Emmerdale back in 2018.

Nevertheless, his role in the soap opera was terminated following the emergence of video evidence showing him threatening Jamie Lomas, aged 28, with a knife at the 2019 TV Choice Awards.

In the confrontation during 2019 that resulted in his dismissal, it was observed that Asan landed a punch on his colleague Jamie, leaving those present stunned.

From that evening’s recording, my intense passion overflowed as I exclaimed, “Are you really such a tough guy? I swear, I’m going to end you. I’m going to stab you.

Following Asan’s throw of a punch, A Celebrity’s Malique Thompson-Dwyer dashed into the room to step in and escort Jamie out.

It was asserted at a later time that the altercation stemmed from a financial disagreement between Jamie and one of Asan’s friends and acting colleagues on Emmerdale.

After the occurrence, an ITV representative informed TopMob that Emmerdale temporarily halted Asan N’Jie while they conduct a deeper probe into an incident that happened at a hotel in central London.

This morning, ITV officials decided to end Asan’s employment agreement right away following their meeting with him.

Asan had been involved in a knife attack plot on Emmerdale before the incident.

Later on, he expressed regret for his behavior during the TV Choice Awards, stating that it was entirely unbefitting and far from his usual demeanor.

‘I am devastated, accept full responsibility and am determined to learn from this.’

In October 2019, the actor’s last performances were broadcasted, and since then, Aaron Anthony has taken over his role on the soap opera.

After departing from Emmerdale, Asan has primarily kept a low profile and has acted in BBC1’s Bloodlands, alongside James Nesbitt, as well as BBC2’s Industry.
