Former Dota 2 carry dyrachyo shares update after surgery, teases return to streaming games except Dota 2

It looks like dyrachyo will stay away from Dota 2 for a bit as he recovers from a recent surgery.

Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov, formerly of Gaimin Gladiators and Tundra Esports, announced on Telegram that he recently had surgery to remove lipomas. He also said he’ll be back to streaming soon and is planning to play some games besides Dota 2.

Hi everyone! I recently had a quick operation to remove some benign fatty lumps. I’d been keeping an eye on them for a while, and when they started to grow and become uncomfortable, I decided it was time to get them taken care of. The procedure went really well.

I remember watching this player back when he was with Gaimin Gladiators – they were absolutely unstoppable in 2023, and he was a huge part of that success! He’s known for being a really aggressive player, always looking to take the game early and push for a win as a carry. He recently played with Tundra Esports at PGL Wallachia, where they did really well, finishing second, but it was his time with Gladiators that really showed everyone what he could do.

Even though dyrachyo played well at PGL Wallachia Season 3, he decided he needed a break from professional Dota 2 because he wasn’t enjoying the game. Tundra Esports supported his decision and first signed Remco “Crystallis” Arets to fill his role, but later replaced Crystallis with Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko.

Will dyrachyo play Dota 2 again after his surgery?

Dyrachyo announced on Telegram that he plans to start streaming games again after recovering from lipoma removal surgery. He wants to finish The Last of Us Part II first, and he’s also excited to play the new Resident Evil Requiem, as well as other titles.

I’m planning to finish The Last of Us Part II on stream once I’m fully recovered. I don’t have much left to play, and then I’d like to try out the new Resident Evil game. I’m open to playing other games too, and I want to mix things up with my streams.

It seems unlikely that dyrachyo will be returning to Dota 2 soon. He didn’t mention the game at all when talking about his future plans, which is surprising considering his success in every major tournament last year as a carry player.

It’s also worth mentioning that dyrachyo participated in a few exhibition matches last year. They competed in BetBoom Streamers Battle 10 and 12 as ‘dyrachyo Team’ and placed between 9th and 10th in both events.
