Former Doctor Who star Tosin Cole lands major new lead movie role
Previously known “Doctor Who” actor Tosin Cole has secured a main part in Gina Prince-Bythewood’s forthcoming film version of “Children of Blood and Bone”.

As reported by Variety, actress Thuso Mbedu is set to portray the character Zélie, with Cole assuming the role of Tzain, who is Zélie’s older brother, in the movie “The Woman King.
Zélie, along with her brother Tzain, join forces with King Saran’s daughter, the resilient Princess Amari (portrayed by Amandla Stenberg), and his strong-willed son, Prince Inan (Damson Idris), in their struggle against their father’s tyranny.

In a new venture, Tomi Adeyemi’s “Children of Blood and Bone” will bring back director-actress duo Prince-Bythewood along with stars Mbedu and Davis, who previously collaborated in the 2022 historical epic “The Woman King.
