Former Child Star Offers Wendy Williams a Safe Haven Amid Ongoing Conservatorship Battle!
In simpler terms, it means that Brock Pierce, a well-known child actor from the past, has unexpectedly expressed his backing for Wendy Williams during their ongoing conservatorship dispute.
60-year-old talk show host is advocating for her liberty, as she currently resides at an assisted living facility in New York, which she claims to be like imprisonment – an assertion contested by her legal guardian. Following a diagnosis of progressive aphasia and dementia in 2023, she finds herself in this situation.
This week, things became concerning as Williams had to be urgently taken to the hospital on Monday for a psychiatric assessment, following reports of her pleading with fans for assistance.
Williams stated that she aced her assessment, which raised more doubts about the legitimacy of her conservatorship.
On a Wednesday, Pierce, famously recognized from his performances in The Mighty Ducks (1992) and First Kid (1996), voiced his backing for Williams and declared his willingness to aid her as she embarks on her path towards recovery.
As a lifestyle advisor, I would express it this way: In line with recent reports from Page Six, the tech-savvy entrepreneur and former actor, now a Bitcoin billionaire, has graciously extended an offer to provide Williams with accommodations in one of his luxury homes, along with round-the-clock medical assistance.
He expressed that he has long been inspired by Wendy’s resilience, and when he witnessed her reaching out for assistance, it was unavoidable not to respond. In a statement to the media, he offered: “A sanctuary where she can find tranquility, receive the attention she necessitates, and embark on her path to recovery.
‘Wendy is a true gem for our nation, and it’s high time we return her generosity by showering her with warmth and assistance as she deserves.’
A person with connections to Pierce, who is known as a strong backer of President Donald Trump, provided more details about Pierce’s open invitation to Williams and expressed his deep emotion towards Williams’ request for aid.
Previously a guest on Wendy’s radio program, Brock was profoundly affected by Wendy’s heartfelt appeal for help, as the source revealed.
Recognizing the difficulties Wendy encounters, Brock is providing her with a secure environment within his personal residence. This includes constant care, as well as specialized medical treatment that suits her particular requirements, delivered by qualified professionals.
According to the source, Pierce aims to assist Wendy in restoring her liberty and wellbeing. Placing her in one of his estates is intended to offer Wendy a safe haven where she can concentrate on recuperation, free from the stresses of public scrutiny.
They went on saying, “‘This invitation stands as a chance for Wendy to spend time healing and finding tranquility, away from the stressors that have weighed heavily upon her, without any restrictions.’
It was not made clear by Pierce which mansion would be at Williams’ disposal; however, Page Six discovered that he has properties scattered throughout the U.S., one of which is located in New York City.
The assistance offer from Pierce arrived merely hours prior to TMZ’s disclosure that the care home, Coterie, where Williams has resided for the past eight months, had submitted a police report alleging kidnapping.

According to sources who spoke to the outlet, the facility alleges that Alex Finnie, Williams’ niece, violated the law by inviting her aunt, the TV star, for a dinner outing on Wednesday evening.
According to reports, Finnie was seen walking with Williams on their return journey from the Coterie, following her psychiatric assessment at Lenox Hill Hospital, which took place earlier this week on a Wednesday.
It’s reported that Finnie previously met up with Williams at Coterie, and later on that same evening, they both dined at an Italian eatery situated in New York City, where Finnie took his aunt as a guest.
Due to the incident, Coterie chose to reach out to the NYPD and submit a police report, stating that ‘Alex allegedly slipped past the staff by exiting the building with Wendy.’ (According to sources within the company)
Instead, it was clarified that Williams wasn’t permitted to exit her memory care wing – situated on the fifth floor – unless a caregiver granted her elevator access.
Additionally, they stated that Williams and her niece were guided to the lobby by a staff member and this staff member not only opened the door of their Uber, but also helped them get into an Uber, which subsequently drove them to the restaurant.
Contrary to the assertion made by Sabrina Morrisey’s lawyer in a recent correspondence with TMZ, it appears that this statement conflicts with the current situation at the facility as it suggests Williams has unrestricted access and freedom for family visits, which may not be accurate.
As reported, Williams and her niece are still enjoying their meal and haven’t come back from Coterie yet.
Previously on Wednesday, Williams found herself teary-eyed during an appearance on TMZ Live. This conversation took place shortly following Morrissey’s attempts to clarify allegations that he had detained Williams at an assisted living center, where she claimed she was held against her will.
Williams clarified to the outlet that it wasn’t true that she was merely ‘permitted’ to depart from the Coterie for shopping, emphasizing that even visiting her own family required Sabrina’s approval.

What they’re saying isn’t true. They’re not truthful individuals. I must admit, I’ve reached my limit. Fortunately, I can express myself.
Wendy stated, “The memory unit on the fifth floor is even stricter than the Coterie, and it’s about my conversation with Judge Lisa Sokoloff where she spoke to me in that manner.
When questioned about potential relocation to a stricter ward, she responded, “Indeed, I am worried, and it might make me shed tears. I can switch between laughter and tears in an instant,” she further explained.
As a lifestyle expert, let me share my feelings honestly: I find myself feeling quite uneasy. The disarray here is making me anxious. To put it straight, I’m terrified of this situation. I can’t imagine anything more confining than where I am right now, and I feel an urgent need to break free. Immediately.
When asked why the judge and the guardian are insisting she stays at the facility, Wendy hinted to Harvey that she would explain more in private, but Ginalisa Monterroso, another person on the call who isn’t connected to Williams’ guardianship, believes it might be linked to the ongoing Lifetime lawsuit.
It’s not clear whether Monterroso works at the assisted living facility or has a direct relationship with Williams.
Earlier in the day, a lawyer representing Sabrina, temporarily acting as her financial guardian, aimed to clarify misconceptions about the talk show host’s allegations that she was being confined or held against her will at Coterie.
In 2022, I found myself in an unexpected situation when a judge appointed me, following concerns raised by Wendy’s former manager, Bernie Young, about my mental wellbeing. This situation also prompted Wells Fargo to momentarily restrict access to my accounts.
Sabrina shared with TMZ that Wendy was undergoing top-notch medical treatment at a facility boasting amenities such as a spa, fitness center, delicious meals served in a dining room, and outdoor terraces. However, it’s worth noting that Wendy herself stated she could only depart from the memory unit with prior approval.

In February last month, the celebrity disclosed that she had left her home merely two times within an entire month, sharing honestly about her isolating experience under her conservatorship.
Additionally, Wendy asserted that she is not experiencing any cognitive decline, and it was in January that her family finally spoke up. They are currently seeking a lawyer to assist Wendy in reclaiming control over her life.
On Tuesday, Wendy finally spoke up during an interview on Good Day New York with host Rosanna Scotto about her thoughts.
I’m absolutely thrilled! Just got a call from the hospital where Scotto was evaluated. Guess what? She aced it, no question about it – she soared through with flying colors!
Rosanna changed the topic and expressed her confusion by saying, “It’s puzzling me, Wendy, why they’re treating you as if you had done something wrong and putting you behind bars.
Williams responded, “Absolutely! Let me share some news with you. By the way, I’m currently on the fifth floor, it’s known as the Memory Unit. It’s a place where nothing is remembered, can you believe it?
She explained that she can’t leave the building since it’s forbidden. In fact, she needs special permission to access the gym within the premises, which is situated on the third floor.
Wendy then emotionally stated that her money is ‘up in the air’ before saying, ‘This is my life.’

As the interview neared its conclusion, she expressed that breaking free from guardianship was her top priority.
On a visit to Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City on Monday, following her stay at an assisted living facility, the ex-talk show host underwent an evaluation by a psychiatrist.
On Monday, according to sources, Williams was reportedly given a full mark on a ‘capability assessment’ carried out by a psychiatrist.
DailyMail.com has reached out to a representative for Williams for comment.
As an overly enthusiastic admirer, I’ve learned from reliable resources that Wendy was presented with a specially crafted 10-item questionnaire, intended to gauge her understanding and decision-making prowess. Incredulously, she aced it, scoring a perfect 10 on the test!
Despite a single test not providing a complete understanding of her cognitive abilities, her exceptional performance on the test suggests she might be more alert and conscious than suggested by her guardian’s assessments.
Williams had previously been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia.
It turns out that the examination Williams took wasn’t meant to challenge her dementia diagnosis. Instead, it seems the findings from this test will be presented to the judge managing her guardianship case.
Lately, Wendy has been actively reaching out to the media to argue that she’s made significant progress and is capable of handling her affairs independently, including managing her personal finances.
Later this week, Williams’ public relations efforts are expected to broaden as she plans to appear on a national TV program for the first time since receiving her dementia diagnosis.
Previously, it had been shared that a wellness check by NYPD officers at Williams’ assisted living facility occurred before she went to the hospital.
On Monday, it was reported by sources to TMZ that Gina apparently arranged for her visit to the hospital and the subsequent cognitive test.
Reportedly, New York’s Adult Protective Services is currently examining her guardianship situation and her living conditions within the facility, which houses a specialized memory unit. It seems that she experiences more limitations in terms of privileges compared to residents on different levels of the facility.

Williams asserts that she does not experience any memory problems, which is why she believes she should not lose her privileges. Additionally, it appears that her mobility on that particular floor is restricted.
As reported by the publication, APS has been speaking with individuals associated with the rumor-spreader, such as her niece, Alex Finnie, who was reportedly interviewed by staff members on Monday.
According to reports, Wendy has been in contact with the organization not too long ago. Furthermore, it’s said that the New York Police Department is still looking into the details surrounding her time at the facility.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be gracing national TV screens for the first time since my life-changing dementia diagnosis, as announced by ABC this past weekend. It’s a significant step for me as I continue navigating this new phase of my journey.
On Friday, March 14th, she is set to appear on The View, despite her ongoing legal fight to terminate her guardianship.
Recently, Wendy has tried to communicate more often using the telephone, as she resides in an assisted living facility with limited freedom due to being placed on a specialized memory care unit that provides her with minimal personal liberties and mobility options.
It appears that although Williams is set to return on TV, it’s yet undetermined if viewers will get the chance to watch her live. This uncertainty arises because ABC has announced that she will conduct a phone interview with the co-hosts of The View, which include Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Yet, she had a precious opportunity to breathe some fresh air last month as her guardianship and the facility granted her a trip to Miami to celebrate her father’s 94th birthday for a short while.
In the year 2022, Williams found herself under a court-supervised guardianship following some significant withdrawals from her bank account, which Wells Fargo considered as questionable transactions.
Following Williams’ diagnosis with Frontotemporal Dementia and Aphasia in February 2024, Morrissey later expressed that the individual was ‘mentally compromised and irreversibly disabled.’
However, over the past few months, it appears that Wendy has been arguing against the idea that she is incapacitated and insisting on being released again.
