Sharni Vinson was all smiles this week as she reunited with one of her Home and Away co-stars.

In the span from 2005 to 2008, the actress who is now 41 years old, played the beloved character Cassie Turner on the enduring daytime drama series aired by Seven network.

After a span of seventeen years, Sharni returned to the presence of long-time Home and Away cast member Lynne McGranger once more.

On Thursday, Sharni, a citizen of both the U.S. and Australia, posted a delightful photo of them on Instagram.

The two performers appeared delighted to be together, taking a joyful photo at The Sunshine Coast Events Centre in Caloundra.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself making my way to a charming coastal Queensland town for the sole purpose of catching the performance of “The Grandparents Club 2” – a musical comedy that had piqued my curiosity.

She cut a casual figure in a dark grey sweater that she wore under a long-sleeve flannelette shirt.

She also wore a pair of grey jeans and finished her look with a brown leather baseball-style cap.

In the meantime, Lynne donned a pink T-shirt paired with grey leggings, while she had a black sweater casually hanging across her shoulders.

Sharni posted an image, stating ‘I’m away from home with @lynnemcgranger,’ and included the hashtags #reunion and encouraging fans to support Lynne by voting for her to win the Gold Logie in this year’s awards.

Fans of Home and Away swiftly expressed their excitement upon seeing the picture, with numerous individuals continuing to wish for Sharni’s comeback to Summer Bay.

‘Cassie & Irene reunion. I hope we will see you back on Home and Away,’ one fan gushed.

Two days earlier, Sharni flaunted her enviable frame on a beach, sharing an image to social media.

She donned a minimalistic, revealing two-piece swimsuit that accentuated her chiseled abdomen and slender, fit legs.

she completed her beach style by adding a pair of reflective sunglasses and a sun cap, shielding her face from the weather conditions.

Sharni wrote: “Stay grounded yet dreamy as you look at this sunny photo.” (Or alternatively, “Maintain a balance between staying earthbound and keeping your aspirations high in this summer shot.”)

The brunette actress was just 22 years old when she debuted on the long-running drama.

For some time now, there’s been talk circulating about Sharni possibly going back to Summer Bay. However, she hasn’t shared any official updates yet.
