Publisher Fulqrum Publishing and developer Byte Barrel have shared the news that “Forgive Me Father 2” will be released for consoles this fall.
The game has a fast-paced, first-person shooting action, featuring an exaggerated comic book aesthetic. Picture a violent cartoon, brimming with gore, such as blood, teeth, and tentacles, and you’ve got the general idea.
This thing is influenced by H.P. Lovecraft’s works – which explains the cephalopod-like adversaries that roam around – and it carries a hint of the infernal vibe from Doom, too.
The description reads:
Delve deep into the heart of terrifying nightmares as you work to regain your composure. Fight off waves of enemy possessions using a powerful assortment of weaponry, prepare yourself for additional Lovecraftian horrors in this thrilling sequel to the first-person shooter game.
Forgive Me Father 2 is out this autumn, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch.
