For fans of The Crow Girl! Here’s your first look at “captivating” new crime drama you won’t want to miss
Television network Channel 4 offers a sneak peek of its upcoming suspenseful drama titled “In Flight“, featuring actress Katherine Kelly, best known for her role in “The Crow Girl“.
Beginning towards the end of this year, an enthralling six-episode series unfolds, with each installment brimming with tension. The lead character is Jo Conran, portrayed by Kelly, who juggles the roles of a single mother and a flight attendant in this gripping narrative.
According to the summary, Jo’s life is dramatically altered when she is coerced into drug trafficking following her son’s unjust imprisonment in Bulgaria for a murder that he claims he didn’t carry out.

Amidst the bustling, tense environment of global aviation, the story In Flight unfolds as Jo tirelessly strives to safeguard her loved ones, all while navigating a perilous web of crime involving an ominous criminal network.
Jo gets entangled in a shady world filled with corruption and assassins, which leaves her little choice but to obey their commands as she seeks an escape. She reaches out to her former partner, Dom, for assistance, yet no matter how distant her current situation is from her past, her primary goal persists: ensuring the safety of her son.
The series was developed and jointly written by Mike Walden from Marcella and Adam Randall of Slow Horses, and it features performances by Stuart Martin, Ashley Thomas, Bronagh Waugh, Harry Cadby, Corinna Brown, and Ambreen Razia.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement over the initial glimpses of the upcoming film, directed by Chris Baugh. The images reveal Kelly, beautifully embodying her role as Jo, a flight attendant, donning her uniform with an air of confidence. Additionally, Thomas, our talented actor portraying Jo’s ex, Dom Delaney, a Customs Officer, also makes a striking appearance in these sneak peeks.
Additionally, the fresh photos showcase Martin portraying Cormac, a prominent figure within a criminal organization that forces Jo to transport illicit substances.
According to their announcement, the upcoming series called “In Flight” will be their interpretation of the noir genre, offering an exhilarating blend of high-stakes drama, style, romance, and suspenseful action, featuring memorable characters that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Jo is someone very dear to us. She’s an everyday woman dealing with extraordinary challenges. We’re eager for the audience to get acquainted with her.
A release date for In Flight has yet to be confirmed.
