SEGA and Sports Interactive are teaming up with FIFA, the international governing body of football, for the latest version of their popular football simulation game, Football Manager 26. Following the cancellation of Football Manager 25, the new game is scheduled to release on November 4, 2025, and will be available on various platforms, including a streamlined version called FM26 Touch on Apple Arcade.

Just before its release, Football Manager 26 announced some exciting news that fans will love: they’ve secured official licenses for FIFA’s major tournaments, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in Canada, Mexico, and the USA.

This year, the game will feature officially licensed FIFA competitions, starting with the FIFA World Cup, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup, with plans to add more in the future. Sports Creative also announced that they’re updating the International Management feature for FM26, FM26 Console, and FM26 Touch next year.
