Due to the news that FM25 (Football Manager 25) is now scheduled for release in March 2025, there’s been a significant drop in communication from Sports Interactive. The delay is attributed to substantial challenges they’re facing when transitioning their long-standing Football series onto Unity Engine.

As a devoted fan, I’ve felt the brunt of the frustration shared among us, as we’ve had to endure an extended wait for the next release following the announcement. The only news since then has been the delay in the sale of FM24, with the expectation that it will continue until the launch of FM25.

Supporters are voicing their worries due to the scarcity of information, dialogue, and announcements regarding Football Manager 2025 from Sports Interactive.

Is FM25 still releasing?

Although fans have been voicing worries about the lack of news regarding the upcoming Football Manager game, it appears that the project is progressing according to the revised timeline. The developers at Sports Interactive previously announced that they would be unveiling the new gameplay features towards the end of January 2025 instead.

At this point, there seems to be no significant reason for worry. It’s completely normal for fans to feel anxious given the repeated delays in the release.

Nonetheless, there seems to be no sign suggesting a deviation from the scheduled March release for Football Manager 25.

Nevertheless, there’s a significant amount of apprehension regarding how FM25 will appear upon its release, given the challenges encountered during the transition to Unity and the assumption that this could limit the inclusion of new features. It has been confirmed that international management won’t be part of this year’s version of the game.

Maybe the new release of the gameplay will help change people’s opinions. For the moment, though, we can only anticipate and observe how Football Manager 2025 unfolds.
