Floyd Roger Myers Jr., the actor who famously played a young Will Smith in the TV show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, died on Wednesday at the age of 42.
Renee Trice, the mother of the deceased celebrity, told TMZ that her child had passed away and shared the reason for their death.
She reported that her son, Floyd, passed away early Wednesday morning from a heart attack at his home in Maryland.
This wasn’t his first heart attack. His mother told TMZ he’d actually had three over the past three years before his death.
Renee added that she had just spoken to her son the night before his sudden passing.
According to his IMDB profile, Michael Floyd’s acting career began in 1992 when he played a young Will Smith on an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

That same year, he also appeared in two episodes of The Jacksons: An American Dream, playing Marlon Jackson.
Years later, in 2000, the actor also had a brief role as a student in an episode of the TV show Young Americans.
