Recent updates have emerged regarding allegations involving professional VALORANT player Ava “florescent” Eugene. The latest information comes from the alleged victim, florescent herself, as well as Riot Games.

The initial florescent allegations doc

A previously unidentified victim’s account, labeled “Brick,” was initially shared by former Game Changer member Marceline “karie” Carson on platform X.

Karie asserts that Brick is significantly important in her life, and she strongly believes that Florescent ought to receive justice for their actions. Subsequently, Karie labeled them as an extremely reprehensible individual with despicable behavior. She then proceeded to recount a series of events detailing how they allegedly sexually assaulted Brick.

In this document, it is detailed that an incident occurred on January 3, 2024. At that time, Ava (formerly known as Flor) was 17 years old. The narrative unfolds the account of events involving Ava and Brick, where they engaged in sexual activities despite Brick not giving his consent. Additionally, the document includes screenshots of messages from Brick to Karie about Ava’s actions.

In a subsequent post, Karie mentioned that the narrative did not hinder her, and Florescent was known for consistently telling untruths.

In the two days that the post has been up, it has garnered over 8 million views.

Florescent acknowledges, denies, and seeks legal assistance for allegations

About 12 hours after the first doc was posted, florescent put out a short statement on X.

The crucial aspect here lies in her firm rejection of any and every allegation concerning sexual misconduct. Furthermore, she hints at possessing evidence that could establish her innocence; however, she is unable to disclose it at the moment.

The follow-up document

Karie shared another document a day following the initial release, and then 12 additional hours later, after Flor had made her statement.

In this instance, the narrative originates directly from Brick – a six-page account that describes their “highly toxic, abusive, and controlling” relationship. It includes numerous screenshots of dialogues, along with testimonies from two of florescent’s past partners.

The evidence was presented in several distinct sections, each backed by statements, recordings, and screenshots. Initially, it concerned Florescent accusing Brick of fabricating a pregnancy claim, along with the controversy surrounding their alleged sexual encounter when they were both 16 and 15 years old.

In response to Karie’s initial document, Brick provided additional details about the event in question. These details included a description of the day and a recounting of the incident from Brick’s perspective. The narrative began with Florescent texting Brick while intoxicated, followed by the player persistently disregarding Brick’s requests to leave despite her wishes to do so.

In simple terms, the third section details an event that occurred on September 3, 2023. This was when Brick and another person decided to visit the Canadian National Exhibition (often called “The Ex”). Even though they had parted ways, Brick felt it would be a shame for their tickets to go unused, so they still went together.

Before heading to the event, Florescent unexpectedly began making sexual advances and attempted to start a sexual encounter at Brick’s place quite early in the morning.

After attending the event, they left shortly thereafter due to the palpable tension stemming from earlier incidents. Florescent consoled Brick, but once more attempted to instigate intimacy. In his writing, Brick expressed that he didn’t want this, reiterating their friendship and his discomfort with the idea of having sex with friends. However, Florescent persisted and asked him out again, an invitation Brick believed was sincere, eventually leading to them becoming intimate.

After the incident, Florescent ended things with him once more. This revelation led Brick to believe that her initial apology was merely a ruse intended to persuade him into having sexual intercourse.

The last section focused on Flor’s emotional control and neglect, as well as her self-harming behaviors. It was disclosed by Brick that Flor has tendencies towards self-harm, which Brick suspects is done to make her feel anxious or remorseful. At one instance, Brick received a suicide note from Flor, but later discovered that “Ava had been safely relaxing on the couch in their living room.

On July 10, 2023, the most heartbreaking instance of emotional abandonment occurred when Brick was involved in a car accident. Instead of providing comfort, Florescent chose to end their relationship. Overwhelmed and desperate, Brick pleaded for her to stay, which she eventually did.

Riot puts out a statement on florescent allegations

On X, the official VALORANT Champions Tour account stated their commitment to fully assist with any ongoing legal inquiries concerning the accusations.

On the other hand, it was troubling for some that Florensent’s name was missing from the post, as Riot Games has previously been quick to reveal the names of players under similar or even less serious circumstances.
