Today, October 16, the suspenseful movie featuring Florence Pugh from “Dune” and popular singer Harry Styles has been made available on the streaming platform. It’s complimentary for those with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

In September 2022, the release of the film sparked debate due to rumors of a conflict between actress Pugh and director Olivia Wilde.

During the time leading up to the movie’s premiere, it was claimed in various sources that an argument or heated discussion between Pugh and Wilde took place on set while filming. In a piece published by Vulture, it was suggested that Pugh felt frustrated with Wilde’s inconsistency on set and her “unprofessional” connection to co-star Styles.

Initially, neither side provided comments on the issue, however, later, crew members released a statement that debunked the rumors.

The director we have didn’t have any shouting arguments with anyone, and certainly not with one of the cast members, as reported to People magazine.

At the Venice Film Festival, it was noted that a strain existed between Pugh and Wilde during the premiere of ‘Don’t Worry Darling’.

In the afternoon, Pugh avoided attending the movie press conference and failed to recognize Wilde during the applause that ensued after the film screening.

It turns out that the movie is drawing larger crowds from audiences rather than critics; for instance, “Don’t Worry Darling” garnered a 74% score on the Popcornmeter compared to a 38% rating on Rotten Tomatoes by critics.

The movie also faired well at the box office, grossing over $30 million in its opening weekend.

In the upcoming tear-jerking romantic drama “We Live In Time“, Pugh will be featured alongside Andrew Garfield, set to hit UK cinemas on January 1, 2025.
