Actress Florence Pugh is joining forces with Antoni Porowski, known for his work on Queer Eye, in a fresh documentary produced by National Geographic.
Pugh is set to appear alongside several other celebrities on “No Taste Like Home with Antoni Porowski,” a show where the renowned food and beverage specialist assists actors in discovering their ancestry by exploring cooking traditions.
Alongside Pugh, this star-studded lineup also features James Marsden, Justin Theroux, Issa Rae, Awkwafina, and Henry Golding. Porowski hints in the trailer that they’re about to undertake an extraordinary adventure together, which is referred to as “the journey of a lifetime.
In the trailer, shared on Instagram, I express, “Being the child of immigrants, I’ve discovered that food holds a unique power to reveal aspects of your identity and heritage far beyond what one might initially imagine.
As a gamer embarking on an exciting adventure, I’ll be tagging along with Pugh and Awkwafina as Porowski explores England and South Korea, while my journey with Theroux takes me through Italy. My travels with Marsden will hop between Texas and Germany, and Rae and Golding will lead me to Senegal and Borneo respectively.
Each installment promises a thrilling odyssey, as suggested by the tagline in Entertainment Weekly, hinting at voyages brimming with visually stunning scenes, heartfelt dialogues with natives, delightful culinary experiences, and unsurprisingly, abundant feasting.
