Flintlock The Siege of Dawn Walkthrough

Flintlock The Siege of Dawn Walkthrough

As a seasoned adventurer who has traversed countless landscapes and faced untold dangers, I find myself once again drawn into the depths of this mysterious world. The reward from Jung was a small token, but the true treasure lies ahead.

Guiding Through Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn‘s Unique Challenges – A Souls-like Adventure Starring Nor the Sapper

Main Quest: To the Gates of Death

1. After watching the cutscene, it’s time for Nor to reunite with his fellow soldiers, while you familiarize yourself with the game’s controls. Traverse the trenches, adhering to the on-screen instructions.

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve learned that reputation mechanics are a key aspect of my gaming experience. Essentially, it’s like earning points or badges based on how well I play. The more skillfully I use the game’s mechanics, whether they be souls, runes, or something else, the more bonus points I receive. This encourages me to experiment with different strategies and techniques rather than relying on one method exclusively. And let’s not forget, you can select your reputation by a specific button – always good to keep that in mind!

At Dawn Fortress, you’ll face your first tough opponent who will introduce you to unblockable attacks. After you’ve been defeated, speak with Haalin who is behind bars. Following this, you’ll be allowed to proceed where you should chat with others, then make your way to the magically barricaded wall. Fire at the blue barrier to break it and open the passageway.

At the conclusion of the bridge, you’ll meet the Guardian – an unbeatable foe. When Nohr’s health depletes to zero, a scene will automatically play out.

Main Quest: Survivor’s Guilt

After gaining control, follow your new companion into the cave. Once you’ve navigated a few overturned timbers, rewatch the cutscene before proceeding. Continue your journey, leaping over chasms and climbing ledges. Upon encountering the luminescent corpse, the fox will request some gunpowder. In exchange, you’ll receive a gunpowder jump and a dodge, enabling you to surmount tougher challenges. These moves can be used twice, in any sequence. Essentially, whether you choose to dodge first or jump depends on the situation at hand. Leap from the precipice, then at the last moment, use the gunpowder jump to avoid taking damage.

A bit farther on, you’ll encounter a band of fallen individuals. You’ll learn how to employ Enki-liz’s combat techniques in this area. Moving forward, you’ll come across the initial bonfire, known locally as the Attraction Stone. Take a moment to pause near it and pick up your first skill. It’s worth noting that skills can be acquired even outside of resting spots. Also, if you need to reset your build, each skill is simple to forget, which will help regain much of the reputation points spent.

Main Quest: From the Ashes

Upon exiting the cave, you’ll encounter a besieged hamlet. To free it, you must vanquish all adversaries, including a formidable warlord. Simply navigate towards the designated target spot, ensuring that the area is rid of corpses. Once the village has been freed, make your way to the town’s coffee shop and engage with the owner who is centrally located. Baz will be found nearby; interact with him. Proceed to a new location known as Three Peaks.

Main mission: Defender of life

Following the cinematic sequence, you’ll arrive at a campsite. Baz tasks you with gathering resources hidden throughout the environment. Simply keep an eye on the objective indicators. Head over to Baz, enhance your weapon, and then venture towards the Fortress of Adoration.

Head towards the mountains, keep going until you spot a skull atop a bluish platform – triggering it opens portals useful for traversing wide chasms. Soon, you’ll come across an outpost guarded by two sentries. Engage them in conversation first, then eliminate them. Instead of advancing head-on, consider exploring the left passage for resources. There’s also a wall sign within the outpost that you can inspect.

Advance straight ahead and promptly trigger the magnetic stone. Following this, the path takes you towards the left, but before that, veer off to the right. In this direction, you’ll come across a sealed fortress. Investigate the rocky side of the fortress more closely near the cliff edge to discover your initial Blessing – a short-term enhancement, along with another portal skull.

As a seasoned adventurer with years of exploration under my belt, I can confidently follow these instructions with ease. First, I’ll power up the device and make my way to the rocky outcrop. Scaling the heights comes naturally to me, so climbing up shouldn’t pose much of a challenge. Once atop, I’ll search for Enki’s feather, a relic I’ve long sought after in my travels. Finding it will undoubtedly increase its power level, adding another valuable artifact to my collection.

As a gamer, I gotta clear this space, you feel me? I’m on a roll now and heading towards the end of the path in the yard. Gotta hop onto those crates to reach that wooden cover, then it’s a leap of faith to the taller wall. Let’s do this!

Head towards the main street to get to the leader. After the village has been freed, converse with the proprietor of the coffee shop. Here are two motivations for doing this: First, each owner contributes more health-restoring containers, and second, they can also spread rumors – extra tasks. Begin the “Peacekeepers” mission, but it’s still quite a distance away. The owners also offer new clothing items for sale.

Step outside, and you’ll spot the first player in Sebo, easily identifiable by the triangle symbol hovering above their head. Win against them, and you’ll earn reputation – think of it as a local version of souls or runes. The idea behind Sebo is straightforward: form a triangle with your chips before time runs out in the first round, while ensuring your opponent doesn’t do the same in the second round. Losing won’t cost you anything, making Sebo an excellent way to boost your reputation, but only once per player. If they lose, all subsequent games against them will yield no rewards. This rule does not apply to Baz, who can be found in every large camp and grants a small amount of reputation for each victory. Now, the fortress is open, providing you with a swift route back to the stone whenever you need to rest or level up.

From the rock, make your way towards the objective marker by going left. Baz will be waiting for you at that location. To proceed further, locate a barrel of gunpowder hidden in the storage area of the nearby knights’ quarters. Upon reaching the entrance to this area, take a moment to survey your surroundings. There are two additional paths that you might encounter.

1. The first one is situated in a cave on the left side, while the second one can be found in the mountains behind that. Start by exploring the cave for resources. Then ascend the mountain and trigger the skull-shaped object to climb higher. Take a left turn and prepare for multiple battles. You’ll encounter another skull on your left; disregard it and proceed to the end. There, you’ll discover a treasure chest containing an extra throwing weapon known as the Ripper grenade. This grenade unleashes 80 charges of shrapnel upon detonation, penetrating armor and causing bleeding in enemies with each impact. Afterward, retrace your steps to the skull for assistance in descending.

1. Head into the warehouse, veer left, and you’ll encounter some straightforward adversaries and a challenging climb up a cliff. At the end, you’ll discover valuable resources. Make sure to eliminate all foes in the surrounding area to uncover a barrel of gunpowder and a chest close by. Inside the chest lies a new melee weapon – the Harbinger’s Flame Axe.

Return to the spot where Baz previously was. Unfortunately, the elderly man is no longer there, but there’s a barrel handy that could be used to blow up the nearby wall. This action should clear a path forward.

Main task: Combat hardening

Just after the breach, I spot a knight. The objective marker suggests I should head left, but I decide to go right instead, discovering a shortcut. My next task is to clear another fortress and open its gate, which will significantly reduce the distance from the attraction stone to my current position. As I approach the gate, there are three adversaries in sight, as well as a lever that, when pulled, will lift the grate.

Upon clearing the space behind, make your way back towards the designated goalpost. Prepare for my first encounter with a swift and formidable foe – tread carefully. A gravity stone lies not far from here. Prepare yourself to dismantle a sprawling camp and free the settlement. Be on guard as there’s a sniper stationed at the entrance, and watch out too for the aggressive avian creatures resembling chocobos from Final Fantasy – they are formidable adversaries. Here you’ll also find the opportunity to complete the optional mission “Peacekeepers”.

1. To find your destination, take a look at the map. Once you’re near the quest, notice a band of knights in hot pursuit of a man dashing into a cave. Keep tracking them. Scale up to the highest point and conquer two adversaries. For your victory, you’ll be rewarded with the initial piece of armor – sapper gloves.

As a gamer, here’s how I would rephrase it: Alright, let’s finish off the last bandits and move towards the village. Once there, you’ll find safety from any further attacks. Just follow the objective marker and set up a campfire. Soon, Baz will show up, handing over a musket. Knock down three nearby targets and chat with him again. Oh, and by the way, there are a few Sebo players hanging out in the village.

Keep an eye out for a prominent red structure situated atop the highest building. You can access it via the remnants of nearby homes or by navigating through the rocky terrain on the opposite side. Make sure to reach that location since it’s the sanctuary of Inaya, which will boost your maximum health level.

Head towards the indicated spot to detonate another gunpowder barrel, thereby creating a path to the village of Ilorybye. Following this, you’ll encounter a small enemy base, where a magnetic stone awaits. Subsequently, it’s essential to secure that region.

1. Visit the local coffee shop, speak with the proprietor to acquire another health bottle, and locate a gentleman named Jung within. Unfortunately, Jung won’t be helpful in your current situation. Approach the proprietor again and seek out a carpenter residing in the village. The girl will request you to dismantle four flags hoisted on various towers scattered throughout the village. As you journey, keep an eye out for portal skulls that can accelerate your mission. Fire your musket at the flags to set them ablaze, but remember you only have three bullets, so you’ll need to make multiple trips if all flags need to be destroyed. One of the village skulls will activate portals leading to unexplored areas. Traverse those portals to discover a new resting spot. The portals allow for ammo replenishment and swift return to complete the mission. Upon completion, return to the carpenter to receive a helmet as your second armor piece as a reward.

Leaving the village, keep an eye out for a rock on your right side. You’ll find passageways leading up the rock. Be aware that a trail lies to the left of this spot. Hop towards it and confront some adversaries to acquire a fresh grenade.

Stay on the left side of the road and ensure you don’t overlook the turn leading to the chest, as it will take you to the Dragoon’s Shoulder Pad – the last armor piece you need.

As I venture ahead, I spot a structure to my left. Scaling this edifice leads me to an eye-catching red altar that boosts my maximum health. Moving on a bit more, I come across a hidden treasure chest containing a powerful grenade.

Ahead lies a group of lesser undead foes and a more powerful one. To simplify the battle, consider exploding some gunpowder barrels first. Once the fight has concluded, ascend the building to your left, near the entrance. There, you’ll find another barrel – it’s crucial for blowing up that wall later on.

Ahead lies a bonfire, where you can reconnect with Baz once more. From him, you’ll receive a fresh task called “Combat Casualties”. This mission requires you to retrieve the old man’s stolen pistol. Your journey continues towards an abandoned village, where you’ll encounter new threats – spiders.

1. Evacuate the village, gather all resources, and afterward make your way towards the designated target point. At this location, you’ll encounter the initial boss – the Unquiet Spirit known as the White Bridge Terror.

The fight unfolds in two distinct phases. In the initial phase, the beast primarily uses physical assaults, but in the subsequent stage, it introduces magical attacks as well. Occasionally, The Restless One discharges three bursts of energy that head towards the Burrows and detonate upon impact. Additionally, be cautious of unavoidable attacks marked by a red glow – they significantly deplete your health points.

After winning, talk to Jung and take the reward from the box.

Main task: Gunpowder and steel

After visiting Jung, head over to the coffee shop to acquire a rejuvenating potion and receive two new tasks: “A long-anticipated rendezvous” and “Taking a chance.” Now, you can set out on a mission to find Baz’s pistol.

1. Head towards the designated spot until you encounter a rock. You’ll need to leap over it to reach the cave. Once inside, descend into the mine, engage the resting area. Proceed through the mine, eliminating undead and spiders as you go. Inside, you’ll find the last deserter and acquire Baz’s blunderbuss. Detonate the gunpowder barrel nearby to clear a path, but beware, it will attract a swarm of monsters. Defeat them, continue ahead, battling enemies along the way until you emerge outside. Activate the portal skull there to quickly return to Baz and complete the task.

According to your instructions, head towards the primary objective marker. You’ll eventually navigate through some swamps and reach a fortress inhabited by new knights. Eliminate all the enemies in the courtyard to open the path to the attraction stone.

As you reach the landmark, you’ll encounter a knight engaged in battle with the undead. Offer your assistance and engage in conversation with him. To your right, you’ll find a wooden staircase leading up to the fort, where you can establish a campsite for some well-deserved rest.

Look around the area, there is a tower with Enki’s feather, and then go to the marker.

As you venture forth, you’ll stumble upon a cavern. Make your way through this dark labyrinth and prepare for a mini-boss encounter once you emerge atop a rocky outcrop. Overcome him, and proceed with your climb. You’ll eventually reach a water mill, where a stone of attraction awaits to your left. The area is swarming with enemies, so tread carefully! To the left of the water mill stands a tower adorned with an idol that boosts your health. Keep in mind there’s an elevator near the rest point, which can be accessed via portals. On the elevator, you’ll find a barrel of gunpowder – essential for progressing in your quest.

As you enter the mine, watch your step. Grab a fresh weapon from the nearby chest first. You’ll find it conveniently located along your path. Soon, you’ll encounter a large group of undead. Make sure to deal with them before proceeding. Once you’ve reached the end of the mine, ascend one level.

As I tread through this intricate labyrinth, keep your eyes peeled for a towering elevator square-shaped structure straight ahead. I’ve found it best to traverse from ledge to ledge, scaling those heights bit by bit.

Advance slightly and encounter two gunmen ahead; handle them carefully, but avoid veering left as indicated by the marker. Instead, proceed right to discover a fresh weapon in a chest nearby. A gang of adversaries lies in wait below; deal with them, and you’ll reach the attraction stone. Continue onward, and you’ll spot a location for a gunpowder barrel. To locate it, take a detour to the left and scale the rocky outcrops. Once found, be cautious not to hurry in descending. Instead, explore the corridor on your left, where you’ll find a skull that will boost your movement towards debris.

1. Deflate the drum containing the cursed gemstone, enhancing Enki’s skills. Proceed with your journey now.
