Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood has secretly tied the knot for the fifth time.
The 78-year-old rock star shared personal photos from his honeymoon in the South Pacific, showing him and his new wife enjoying a relaxing and beautiful vacation after their wedding.
Mick’s personal life is as famous as his incredible music career. He’s known for unconventional relationships, including marrying the same woman twice, and for romances with well-known figures like Stevie Nicks and even close friends and bandmates.
The singer, known for “Dreams,” posted pictures on Instagram of a romantic kiss by the ocean. Mick showed off his new gold wedding band, paired with a black floral shirt and a bright pink hat. His wife looked beautiful in a white dress adorned with feathers.
He shared a photo with the caption: ‘The South Pacific is amazing! Enjoying our honeymoon with Elizabeth and making unforgettable memories! Sending sunshine, health, and happiness to everyone!’
Mick playfully hid his new wife’s face in photos, keeping everyone curious. However, the Daily Mail has discovered she’s likely Elizabeth Jordan, a 56-year-old from California, and they’ve been together for six years.
She and Mick publicly debuted their relationship at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles in February 2023, where they appeared on the red carpet and posed for photos together.
Mick’s friend, musician Mike Lawson, revealed last year that the couple had gotten engaged privately. He shared the news on Threads when it first happened.
Mick Fleetwood just shared some exciting news – he’s marrying his girlfriend of five years, Elizabeth! It’s wonderful to see him find love and commit to a lifelong partnership. Congratulations to them both!
Fleetwood Mac fans were stunned to learn that the band’s drummer, who hails from Cornwall, was getting married. Many said they weren’t aware he had any wedding plans.
One fan expressed confusion on X, writing, “I’m so out of the loop – how did everyone find out Mick is getting married again?”
Okay, so you HAVE to hear about Elizabeth! She’s amazing. She’s a mom – she has two kids, which is so cool – and she lives in Hawaii! Can you believe it? But it’s not just a vacation for her; she runs a property management business, and not just locally! She’s got properties all over – Maui, California, even New York! I’m seriously obsessed with how she balances everything.
She leads the Mick Foundation, a charity established in 2023 to support music programs in schools throughout Hawaii.
She’s known for being adventurous and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially activities like skiing, surfing, traveling, hiking, and fishing.
Mick’s first wife was Jenny Boyd, a model and the sister of Pattie Boyd, who was famously married to George Harrison and Eric Clapton.
Their relationship was famously up and down. They married in 1970 but divorced six years later in 1976. Surprisingly, they remarried in 1977 while on tour in Ireland, but ultimately divorced for good in 1978. They have two daughters together, Amy and Lucy.
After a difficult period, Mick briefly had a well-known romantic relationship with his Fleetwood Mac bandmate, Stevie Nicks, while they were recording their famous album, Rumours.
Looking back, I think it’s important to be honest about relationships, even the complicated ones. Stevie, who’s now 77, once shared that a brief connection with Mick was a real shock, even to him. But he also admitted it wasn’t a positive thing for anyone involved, especially considering Mick’s family life. It just goes to show, sometimes even unexpected connections aren’t the right fit, and can cause more harm than good.
He married Sara Recor, who was a close friend of Stevie Nicks, in 1988. The wedding was a star-studded event with guests including Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, and Chubby Checker. Sadly, the marriage ended in divorce after just four years.
Oh, Mick and Lynn… they were everything. He married Lynn in ’95, and honestly, it was amazing to watch! It was his longest relationship, almost 20 years! And then, Ruby and Tessa arrived in 2002 – the most adorable twin daughters! I’ve followed their family for years, and it was just beautiful to see them all together. Seriously, Lynn and the girls were a huge part of why I was so obsessed with Mick!
The drummer filed for legal separation in 2013, with their divorce finalised in November 2015.
Mick recently shared how tough the past few years have been. He spoke about the devastating loss of Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac in 2022, and also how it felt like the band itself was falling apart around the same time as his personal split from Lynn.
‘And I [split] with my partner as well. I just found myself sort of licking my wounds.’
Christine died aged 79 following a stroke and a diagnosis of metastasised cancer.
The band has been on break ever since, and both Mick and Stevie have said they don’t see a point in continuing without her.
You know, despite everything going on with his career, it’s really lovely to see Mick seems genuinely happy. The news about him marrying Elizabeth is a beautiful reminder that personal joy can blossom even when things are a little uncertain professionally. It’s a really heartwarming story, honestly!
Mick is a legendary figure in rock music. He helped start Fleetwood Mac in 1967 and has remained a constant member of the band, even as the group’s members and personal relationships have changed dramatically over the years.
The band has sold over 120 million albums globally, and their 1977 album, Rumours, is still one of the biggest-selling albums ever.
