Five’s Shocking Transformation: You Won’t Believe What J Brown Looks Like Now!
On Thursdays’ episode of This Morning, the band seemed strikingly changed when they showed up to discuss their upcoming UK tour following their unexpected comeback announcement.
Among the United Kingdom’s most popular boy bands, Abz Love (age 45), Ritchie Neville (also 45), Scott Robinson (45), Sean Conlon (43), and J Brown (48) were members before they disbanded in 2001.
The 12-date “KEEP ON MOVIN’ 2025” tour commences in Brighton on October 31, 2025, and will journey throughout the country afterwards.
Twenty-five years after reaching peak popularity, they seem a far cry from their ’90s boyband days, as evidenced by their recent appearance on the daytime talk show.
Specifically, fans of the group were taken aback by J’s dramatic change, as he now sports a bald head and muscular build.
On Scott Mills’ Radio 2 Breakfast program, the band had a bustling day of publicity, sharing their exciting news.

At that location, they unveiled the fact that they’d kept the tour’s organization under wraps while expressing their anticipation for what lay ahead.
Scott inquired: “When did you start working on this, approximately?” To which Abz responded: “Perhaps a year and a half ago, or close to that.
He further elaborated on maintaining the secrecy, stating, “We opted for an Airbnb rental since it was essential to avoid being noticed by others. Upon arriving, we greeted each other warmly within mere seconds of entering the apartment.
Upon entering, we were struck by a sense of profound recognition and delight – it was simply incredible to be reunited, and everything felt perfectly fitting.
The alignment has finally occurred where everyone is prepared simultaneously, something that hasn’t happened before. It’s simply astounding.
Scott then asked: ‘And did everyone walk in there in shades and baseball caps?’
Ritchie joked: ‘A little bit. It was a little bit cloak and dagger yes!’
Scott replied saying: ‘How exciting! Just adds to the drama doesn’t it!’
J is coming back unexpectedly for the gathering. This popular rapper last showed up in public in 2013, appearing on the ITV2 series The Big Reunion where he refuted allegations of bullying by his fellow band members.

However, on Tuesday evening, the secluded celebrity based in Warrington disclosed that he would be reuniting with Abz and the rest of the group for a boyband comeback. This move aims to restore the original lineup in preparation for a significant tour announcement.
J also admitted he went through major depression before his career took off with the boyband.
The tour commences in Brighton on October 31, 2025, followed by performances in various cities including Bournemouth, Cardiff, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Aberdeen, and Glasgow, with a stop also at London’s The O2.
I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! On Thursday, we officially announced that the five of us will be joining forces for a tour spanning across the United Kingdom! Can’t wait to see you there! #UKTour2023
They went on saying, “It feels like a significant milestone that has taken a long time to reach, but it truly aligns with what we want at this moment – 25 years later, we are more than prepared for it.
We’re absolutely thrilled to reunite on stage with everyone again and meet you face-to-face! It’s going to be an incredible experience that’ll be off the charts! Here we go!
Ticket sales commence on Friday, 7th March. Register now at itsfiveofficial.com to secure early access to presale tickets, available two days earlier on Wednesday.
‘International fans, make sure to sign up there so we know where in the world you are too.’
Regarding the reunion, Scott remarked: “It feels like a moment we’ve been waiting for a long time, and it truly seems fitting for everyone involved – after 25 years, we’re more than prepared for this gathering.
Revisiting our bond, strengthened as a quintet over the past year, holds a unique charm, and I confidently echo the sentiments of my fellow companions when I declare that we eagerly anticipate recapturing those moments. Wishing you’re all set for another exciting round!
Abz excitedly stated, “We are eagerly anticipating performing together again and meeting our fans. It’s going to be an incredible show! We’re thrilled to have Naughty Boy joining us on tour as well…
‘5 bad boys and a naughty boy, that sounds like a lot of fun. Let’s gooooo!’
The news also came a 25 years after Five won their first BRIT Award for Best British Pop Act.
For about five days now, they’ve been hinting at their return through social media posts and even launched a new website and Instagram page, with both platforms displaying ‘Loading… 27.2.25’.
On Tuesday evening, the band starting with J’s Instagram account shared a photo depicting an exchange. In this conversation, the newcomer to Instagram, who is part of the band, wrote: “Let me check the microphone… Is it working?”, followed by ‘Five rowdy boys are preparing to rock’, which is a lyric from their song titled Everybody Get Up.
Formed in 1997, Five went on to sell more than 20 million records worldwide.
As a devoted fan and global chart tracker, I can proudly say that among acts from over twenty nations, we, as the sole UK group, have managed an impressive feat: our 11 singles have all entered the Top 10 charts. Three of these hits even reached the coveted No.1 spot.
During an intense argument, it was disclosed by Simon that he almost physically confronted one member of the ’90s boy band 5ive while collaborating with them.
In a segment of the documentary titled “Boybands Forever,” Scott admitted that in 2001, he had reached a boiling point. He vividly remembered saying: ‘I forcefully pushed one of the higher-ups at our record label against his desk with my foot, pinning him against the wall.’
I declared emphatically, ‘I’m quitting this band, and believe me, no one can prevent me.’ However, Simon attempted to physically restrain me from departing.”
In a more casual, first-person context:
“I made it clear that I was leaving the band, and trust me, nobody could stop me. But Simon tried to hold me back as I was trying to leave.
Simon admitted: ‘We almost ended up in a fist fight. I was that close to punching him in the face.’
According to The Sun, Scott admitted, “I was utterly out of my senses. Security had to intervene and escort me forcefully from the premises, acting as if I were a frantic, unruly animal.
Reflecting on the music industry’s less-than-ideal aspects, Simon pondered, “There’s a great deal of profit to be made, yet it can be downright ugly and distasteful at times. You need to develop a tough exterior.
Previously, Ritchie disclosed the surprisingly low income he made during his band’s peak popularity, even though they sold over 20 million records globally.

In an interview for the forthcoming BBC series “Boybands Forever,” Ritchie asserted that the band was unfairly taken advantage of financially by those reaping profits from their achievements.
He mentioned that when they first started out, the group only got two breaks spanning over two years, and each member was initially paid only £100 per week. This was despite the fact that popular hits such as ‘Everybody Get Up’ were already being released.
2025 Tour tickets for Five’s “Keep On Movin'” become available to the public this coming Friday, 7th of March, starting at 10am. You can purchase them through their official website: www.itsfiveofficial.com.
