Five perform live for the FIRST time in 25 years as they surprise fans at Robbie Williams’ stadium gig in London

The crowd went wild with excitement when five individuals unexpectedly joined Robbie Williams on stage during his concert at the London stadium last Friday.

At the Emirates Stadium, the legendary ’90s boyband, consisting of members Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Abz Love, and Jason Brown, delivered a lively performance marking their first live appearance in 25 years.

In 1997, the English band initially came together, and they teamed up with Robbie, who was 51 at the time, as he performed their popular song “Keep On Movin” during his massive UK Britpop stadium tour.

The stunning instance signified the initial occasion when the group of Five played together as a quintet in twenty-five years, eliciting an electrifying response.

When the popular tune started playing, there was an echo within the stadium as Robbie delivered an impeccable performance of the song. He then playfully admitted not remembering the second verse and humorously asked if anyone in the crowd knew it by heart.

As the crowd cheered loudly, Abz Love, J, Ritchie, Scott, and Sean made their entrance onto the stage, illuminating the spotlight together for the first time in a quarter-century. They performed their signature hit powerfully, with fans joyously singing every word along with them.

Bringing together popular music history and instantly taking listeners back to the height of boyband craze, this event is unique as it marks the first time that Five and Robbie will share a stage.

They shared about their experience: “It was truly an honor to be invited by Robbie Williams to perform with him at his concert in London’s stadium.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to join forces with someone who has been a steadfast supporter since our inception, right from our humble beginnings up until our triumphant comeback. So, when Rob extended an invitation for us to share the stage during his rendition of “Keep On Movin'”, it was an immediate and resounding ‘yes’ from me. I can’t wait to create some memorable moments together!

Experiencing that moment alongside Robbie, in front of sixty thousand people, was absolutely wild… a rendition of ‘Keep On Movin” that we’ll always remember vividly.

The unexpected show is scheduled before the start of Five’s widely awaited 25-concert ‘KEEP ON MOVIN’ Tour, beginning in October.

Lately, TopMob members found themselves in a disagreement while clarifying the proper spelling of their group’s name.

5 members, who achieved global success with over 20 million record sales before their disbandment in 2001, are commonly recognized by the name 5ive.

For years now, I, a die-hard fan, have been calling them by this unique moniker, and it turns out, even their official Wikipedia page mirrors my usage – they go by the stylized name “5ive.

Last week, fans were taken aback by a TikTok video posted by the group, titled: “When people mistake us for 5ive rather than Five”. The video portrayed them angrily knocking over bottles and banging against walls to express their annoyance.

So strongly do they feel their name was incorrectly abbreviated that when TopMob inquired about dropping the “5” from their name, Richie quickly replied: “No way!” or “Absolutely not!

26 years ago, when they first published their Slam Dunk (Da Funk) music video, Scott clarified that they had actually been spelling their name differently than how it’s known now.

In a recent discussion, I found myself clarifying an intriguing point: there seems to be a discrepancy regarding the track number 5 in one of our music videos. However, it’s essential to note that this number has never appeared on any of our studio albums. This inconsistency is present on platforms like Spotify, where our discography includes the ‘5’. Just to avoid any confusion, we are the band known as F, I, V, E.

After noticing the disagreement within the group, Sean expressed his confusion by saying: “I still can’t wrap my head around it – knowing that some might criticize me – you may argue with me – I just can’t fathom why this is causing such a stir.

The group then immediately started bickering as J bellowed: ‘I don’t like it!’

Scott commented: ‘It seems odd, more like 5Five. However, our name is Five, so let me emphasize it, Five, Five, please!’ (emphasis added)

Slam Dunk (Da Funk) was Five’s debut single and went on to hit number 10 on the UK Singles Chart.

In more than twenty different nations, our act is the sole UK group that managed to place all eleven of their singles in the Top 10, featuring three chart-toppers.
