`Fitness Influencers Under Fire for ‘Sexualising’ Content`
Fitness expert Kayla Itsines expresses criticism on her social media platforms towards fellow influencers in the fitness world, claiming they overly sexualize their online content.
33-year-old fitness expert and writer critically reprimanded fellow fitness professionals for employing suggestive camera angles during video shoots, particularly while performing exercises focused on the buttocks.
The mother of two stated that such videos, which she referred to as “workout routines”, were not suitable for viewing during her morning beverage time.
In her TikTok post titled “Sexualization in the Fitness Industry,” Kayla seems to have been pointing out a trend where some influencers focus on recording themselves during workouts from behind, although she didn’t directly define it.
‘I literally got off instagram and TikTok so many times this morning,’ she began.
It seems the fitness world has taken on a more sensualized tone, which isn’t the kind of content I prefer to encounter during my morning routine, as if I were sipping coffee.

She explained, “That specific angle tends to receive likes and encourages engagement. I understand if you’re looking to promote your fitness program for the lower body…
For me personally, I find it more about the fact that I have a daughter, and when we’re together while I’m scrolling, I might exclaim something like ‘Oh my goodness, I don’t want you to see another girl in that revealing way’.
If you’re a parent or a woman who prefers not to encounter such content on your phone, especially at 7 am, let me guide you.
In another part of the conversation, where her message garnered 37.1K ‘like’ reactions in the form of love hearts, Kayla clarified to her audience that she is not a critic, but simply acting as a concerned mother.
‘I’m just a female that doesn’t want to see it. Not for me.’
Although Kayla didn’t specifically accuse Tammy Hembrow of sexualizing her content, many users were prompt in voicing their disapproval towards her.
‘Yes!, Tammy Hembrow is the worst [for sexualising content],’ one Tik Tok user wrote.
‘I commented on one of her posts recently,’ wrote another user commenting on Tammy’s content.

Recently, her fashion sense appears quite tacky. Nowadays, she tends to emphasize her chest area rather than her posterior, which seems to be a change after her surgery.
‘So true,’ added another.
‘Numerous fitness influencers populate gyms today, frequently using their tripods to film workout routines that mirror what’s already being done.’
A different TikTok user expressed their thoughts on the matter: “Absolutely, I concur! Labeling it as ’empowering’??? I’d rather not watch it during morning or evening hours.
Following the backlash that Tammy Hembrow received from her followers, who criticized her for displaying her freshly-enhanced bust in a provocative pink gown on Saturday.
A popular fitness personality, age 30, who underwent a breast implant adjustment in August of the previous year, came close to overflowing from the high neckline of her petite dress in photos she posted on Instagram.
Meanwhile, some applauded the social media celebrity for her changed physique, but others criticized the blonde for what they deemed an inappropriate show.
One individual remarked about the collection of images, saying, ‘I’m sorry, but the initial photo resembles a screen saver for an R-rated movie.’
Another individual commented, “It’s great to be both attractive and sophisticated, but this seems a bit excessive! I’m astonished that those [implants] don’t appear to have slipped out of the clothing you’re wearing.
A third wrote: ‘Wtf ur areiloa tone is right there why [sic].’
In simpler terms, someone expressed disappointment, stating that the 21st century has not been the same as it was before a certain change took place, specifically referring to alterations made to a woman’s natural physical appearance.
Someone else chimed in: ‘Not classy with the front. Sad because you are a beautiful woman.’

‘Too big. Big fan of her and love her to bits but jeezzzzz,’ said someone else.
‘You’d look so good without implants. Please consider removing,’ yet another chimed in.
Previously, Tammy disclosed that she’d gone through a breast implant revision surgery and shared her healing process by recording it.
The procedure called a revisional operation entails swapping out the existing breast implants for fresh ones, addressing complications stemming from surgery-related problems or modifications brought about by the natural evolution of one’s body.
At the end of July, Tammy had an unspecified operation, which she later disclosed was to take out and replace her eight-year-old breast implants.
In the video, the stunning woman shared that she opted for replacements because she felt self-conscious about their appearance post-move, which was a result of her workout routines at the gym.
She confided that for some time now, she’s felt a small sense of unease about the situation, as they seemed unwilling or unable to comply with her expectations.
As a diligent follower, I recently learned from Influencer Updates AU that she enlarged her appearance post-surgery deliberately. This was to prevent the need for a lift, which would’ve resulted in additional scarring.
