Olivia Kelly has opened up about her new relationship with Tammy Hembrow’s ex Reece Hawkins.
The 24-year-old fitness influencer publicly revealed her relationship with Reece on Instagram in August, around the time rumors surfaced about a romance with Australian rules football player Bailey Smith.
Olivia has moved from Melbourne to the Gold Coast to be with her partner, and she’s thrilled with the change.
Olivia told the Herald Sun she’s really enjoying her new lifestyle. She loves that the Gold Coast is full of people with similar interests, which helps her stay motivated and grow.
Olivia spoke highly of her boyfriend, Reece, describing him as a welcome and refreshing presence in her life.
She shared that being with someone who believes in her dreams and helps her grow has been wonderful.
Olivia explained that beginning their relationship while living far apart actually made them closer.
Olivia explained that they both started the relationship without any preconceived notions, and the distance allowed them to quickly form a strong emotional and intellectual bond.
‘I have never been happier and more content with someone and the direction of my life.’
Olivia, who just released an activewear collection with the Australian brand Rockwear, said she was nervous about the launch, but intends to stay living on the Gold Coast for the time being.
It comes after Olivia recently gave an insight into how she found love with Reece.
‘We basically met online,’ the 24-year-old said in a Q&A on her Instagram story last month.
We were both happy being single and weren’t looking for anything serious, but I suppose you meet the right person when you least expect it, she explained.
People started talking when Olivia posted photos showing Reece’s distinctive tattoos.
Last July, the fitness trainer shared a striking photo on her Instagram story: a picture of herself in a glamorous, low-backed dress placed over an image of a chessboard and a man with tattoos.
The ink matched that of Reece, who is known for his heavily tattooed body.
Olivia also posted a picture of herself hugging a dog that looked like Reece’s Golden Retriever.
In August, Reece publicly announced their relationship on Instagram, sharing several affectionate photos of the couple enjoying a trip to Bali.
I spotted a cute photo of Reece and Olivia recently – they were at a café, and it looks like he was checking his phone while she happily posed for a picture. It’s those little everyday moments, right?
Another showed Olivia’s new beau sweetly kissing her on the cheek.
Meanwhile, Tammy and Reece share two kids – Wolf, 10, and Saskia, nine.
However, they decided to part ways in 2018.
He later began dating model London Goheen, and they had a son named Stone in 2021. They separated in 2022.
Prior to meeting Reece, Olivia was in a relationship with AFL star Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.
Okay, so after Jamarra broke things off with Mia Fevola – it was *everywhere* in the media, honestly – he finally moved in with his new girlfriend in 2022! I was so happy for him, he deserved some peace after all that drama.
Despite initial hopes, the couple’s marriage only lasted two years, and they separated quietly in June of last year.
