Fitness guru Kayla Itsines suffers a nasty cut to her head after bizarre accident

Despite her superhuman fitness prowess and health-conscious lifestyle, even the most seemingly routine tasks can sometimes turn into unexpected ordeals. In this case, an innocuous act like putting on a sports bra turned into a papercut on her forehead – a stark reminder that life has a funny way of catching us off guard.
Kayla Itsines has injured herself in an unlikely way.
On a typical Wednesday, the 33-year-old fitness influencer shared on her Instagram Stories that she had accidentally injured her forehead while getting dressed in the morning.
In the Instagram video she shared, Kayla described her usual method of dressing, saying, ‘I typically slide into my garments, including sports bras. I just find myself wearing them in an unusual manner.’
Today, while I was trying on a shirt, I simply decided to put it on as any ordinary individual would.
The fitness guru paused for a second before showing the cut on her forehead.
‘I papercut my head with the tag!’ she exclaimed.
Kayla then explained that the injury came at the worst possible time.
‘Now here’s the best bit: I’m going to Europe today,’ she said.
After her visit to a children’s play center, Kayla has recently developed a severe eye infection.
During the school break, she took her five-year-old daughter Arna to the activity center they both share custody with her former boyfriend, Tobi Pearce.
Kayla shared on social media with her 15.8 million followers that she had developed conjunctivitis, often referred to as ‘pink eye’.
In her post’s caption, she expressed that she unexpectedly contracted conjunctivitis, as it turned out, while sharing photos of Arna enjoying herself at the play center.
‘I’m all better now but who’s going to be the one to tell Arna we’re never going again?’
“Kayla mentioned that she recently visited an entertainment center with the children over their break, despite many warning her against it due to rumors about it being a hotspot for stomach bugs and eye infections.”

Earlier this year, Kayla, along with her husband Jae Woodroffe and their son Jax, officially relocated from Adelaide to the Gold Coast, putting an end to several months of rumors.
In January 2022, Kayla introduced Jae to her followers via her Instagram account by posting a picture of them snuggling together. The accompanying caption revealed that he had been her long-time friend and is now her romantic partner.
Last year in January, they joyously received their firstborn son, whom they named Jax. Then, in December, they officially became one, exchanging marriage vows.
She also shares custody of her daughter Arna, five, with ex Tobi Pearce.
