Fist of the North Star Gets New Limited-Edition Seiko Watch for International Release

First appearing in the 1980s, this anime is a classic and continues to be popular. To celebrate upcoming new installments, fans can enjoy two special watches that capture the exciting spirit of the series.

These high-end watches are inspired by the characters from a popular story. They include details referencing the source material. Both designs are available now, but in very limited quantities, suggesting it will be difficult to obtain one if you don’t act quickly.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Fist of the North Star manga, Seiko has released a special collection of watches. It’s a fitting tribute, as the series itself feels truly timeless. The Kenshiro watch features a blue face, while the Raoh version is a striking dark red. The Kenshiro watch’s design includes details inspired by the series, like a Big Dipper pattern and sub-dials that represent the pressure points used in his fighting style.

The watches also display “Hokuto Shinken,” and each one has an engraving of the character and its edition number on the back. The Raoh version features a red dial with a gold second hand, and the character for “Ken-Oh,” meaning Fist King—a fitting detail given Raoh’s powerful and honorable villainous role. The sub-dials showcase Raoh’s horse, Kokuoh-go, and the symbol of his army, and like the other watch, the back is engraved with the character and edition number.

Both watches are packaged in a unique box with a special foil design. They run on a quartz movement and feature a durable stainless steel case with curved, scratch-resistant Hardlex glass. They are accurate to within 15 seconds per month, water-resistant to 10 bar, and measure 47mm high, 39.8mm wide, and 12.8mm thick.

These authentic, Japanese-made Seiko watches are now available for pre-order and cost $580 USD, with flexible payment options through Shop Pay. While they won’t ship until at least November 30, 2026, interested buyers should order quickly, as only 2,000 units of the Fist of the North Star collaboration will be made. That means they’ll likely sell out fast – just like a challenger facing Ken!
