FISSURE commits to two more years of Dota with millions at stake

As a seasoned Dota 2 gamer with countless hours clocked in and tournaments under my belt, I can confidently say that the news from FISSURE has brought a fresh wave of excitement to the community. The announcement of LAN events under their “PLAYGROUND” name is music to our ears!


For the upcoming two years, FISSURE plans to expand its Dota 2 events portfolio beyond just online tournaments, also incorporating Local Area Network (LAN) content.

As The International 2024 approaches its conclusion, there’s a sense that the Dota 2 year is drawing to a close. Yet, several tournament organizers have already unveiled their schedules for the upcoming season. Despite the excitement surrounding Deadlock potentially deterring some Dota 2 enthusiasts, FISSURE has alleviated some of this apprehension by revealing their Dota 2 schedule for the next two years.

For the upcoming season, FISSURE has joined the top-tier brands that have pledged their support for Dota 2 esports. As previously, their “Universe” series of online tournaments will continue with an invitational format. Moreover, they are introducing LAN events under the “PLAYGROUND” label to enhance the competition.

FISSURE’s Dota 2 Schedule for 2025 – 2026
