First trailer for Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega’s new movie is coming tomorrow

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for quirky and unconventional narratives, I can’t help but feel an electrifying surge of anticipation at the imminent arrival of “Death of a Unicorn”. With my fingers crossed and eyes gleaming, I eagerly await the trailer’s release tomorrow (December 18), like a cat on the prowl for its next gaming trophy.

2025 is set to see some unusual films, but we’ll soon have an early peek at “Death of a Unicorn,” which could easily become one of its most eccentric offerings.

It’s been verified that the initial trailer for “Death of a Unicorn,” featuring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega, is set to debut on December 18th, preceding its theater premiere in American cinemas next spring (Spring 2025).

A UK release date for the black comedy has yet to be confirmed.

To celebrate the upcoming trailer launch, studio A24 has revealed an eye-catching initial poster for the film “Death of a Unicorn“. The image displays what appears to be a deceased unicorn covered by a cloth, with just its horn visible.

Under the guidance of director Alex Scharfman, the movie titled “Death of a Unicorn” unfolds the story of a father, played by Rudd, and his daughter, Ortega, who inadvertently strike and fatally wound a unicorn during their journey to a weekend getaway.

Upon arrival, the father finds that Richard E Grant, his wealthy employer, recognizes a chance to capitalize on the unique healing powers of the unicorn for personal advantage.

As a movie enthusiast, I’m excited about “Death of a Unicorn,” a film that managed to keep rolling amidst the 2023 Hollywood strikes. Notably, this production brings together an impressive cast including Téa Leoni, Will Poulter, Anthony Carrigan, Sunita Mani, Jessica Hynes, and Stephen Park.

Recently, a preview of Ortega’s reappearance in the second season of Wednesday was unveiled, signaling that the series has wrapped up production and is set to air on Netflix in 2025.

I’m excited to share that I’ve got an upcoming reunion scheduled with the remarkable Catherine Zeta Jones on a Wednesday, as part of the new movie “The Gallerist”. Alongside her, this film boasts the talents of Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Zach Galifianakis, and Sterling K Brown. This promises to be quite a spectacle!

“I can’t wait for Spring 2025 when I’ll finally get to watch ‘Death of a Unicorn’ on the big screen in U.S cinemas! As for my friends across the pond, we’re still waiting on a release date for the UK.”
