First trailer for Outlander star Caitriona Balfe’s new thriller The Amateur

The stellar cast, led by Rami Malek, Caitríona Balfe, and Laurence Fishburne, promises a gripping narrative filled with intrigue, action, and revenge.

Additionally featuring Rami Malek from “Bohemian Rhapsody” and Laurence Fishburne known for his role in “The Matrix”, the movie produced by 20th Century Studios will make its way to UK theaters on April 11.
In the suspenseful spy story, Malek assumes the principal character, Charlie Heller – a quiet CIA analyst who experiences tragedy when his spouse perishes in a terror incident in London.

He is left reeling after seeing his wife killed during a terrorist attack in London, asking for “mission-specific training” and a new identity to track down the killers himself – while his bosses assure him they’ll handle the case.
He expresses his intention, stating, “I aim to confront those who took my wife’s life, gaze into their eyes, and seek justice for her.” This captures the essence of your original sentence in a more conversational tone.
In a different phrasing, Fishburne’s character forces Charlie to aim a gun at him and pulls the trigger, as if preparing him for the tasks that lay ahead.
