First trailer for Grey’s Anatomy star’s new action movie
As a seasoned gamer and movie enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting action movies that deliver both thrills and emotional depth. And based on the trailer for Eric Dane’s latest film, “One Fast Move,” I’m definitely intrigued.
The trailer for the action film “One Fast Move,” featuring actor Eric Dane who is known for his roles in “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Euphoria,” has been released for the first time.
In an upcoming film scheduled for an August 8 premiere on Amazon Prime Video, Dane shares the screen with KJ Apa from “Riverdale.” Here, Apa portrays Dane’s on-screen son.
Kelly Blatz, the writer and director of “Fear the Walking Dead,” has crafted the film “One Fast Move.” In this production, Apa portrays the character of Wes, a former soldier who was dishonorably discharged.
In the midst of hardships, Wes determines to reach out to his long-lost father in search of healing relationships and support, as he strives to make a living as a motorcycle racing prospect.
While undergoing training, Wes encounters his romantic interest, a budding singer from a small town portrayed by Maia Reficco. With the support of a motorcycle store proprietor and his newfound love, Wes starts to dismantle the emotional barriers erected by his father’s absence.
According to the preview, a distressed Wes makes his way from prison to a quaint town in search of his long-lost father. Upon his arrival, he encounters his romantic interest in what seems to be a cozy diner setting. Later on, he manages to reconnect with his dad.
With the guidance of his formerly estranged father, Wes embarks on a challenging training regimen. During this process, he encounters several hurdles, one of which is a physical altercation against another rider.
In the trailer, Wes’ mentor advises him that many competitors will try to surpass him in this sport. However, it’s not through brute force that one triumphs over them, but rather by outsmarting and outskilling them.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Blatz shared that his inspiration for the movie came from his deep-seated affection for thrilling sports dramas such as “The Fighter,” “Ford v Ferrari,” and “Rocky.”
He went on to express: “With my deep-rooted passion for motorcycles, it struck me that there wasn’t a movie dedicated to the exhilarating world of motorcycle racing.”
Using “One Fast Move,” my team and I were committed to producing an authentic film portraying the thrill and peril of motorcycle racing. Simultaneously, we aimed to provide a deeply engaging and emotionally resonant storyline centered around intriguing characters.
One Fast Move will premiere on Prime Video on Thursday, August 8.
