First look! Netflix serial killer whodunnit from “one of the greatest storytellers in crime fiction”

Netflix has released a sneak peek at Detective Hole, a nine-episode crime series based on the popular books by Norwegian author Jo Nesbø.

I’m so excited for the new Harry Hole mystery coming out on March 26, 2026! It’s going to be a classic whodunnit where Harry, played by Tobias Santelmann (you might recognize him from Point Break and Exit), is in a race against time to stop a serial killer. It’s cool to see Santelmann taking on the role – Michael Fassbender played Harry before in The Snowman back in 2017, and he was great too!

Before the series launches, Netflix has given a sneak peek of “Detective Hole,” a thrilling whodunnit mystery created by bestselling crime novelist Jo Nesbø. The show follows the investigations of Harry Hole, Nesbø’s iconic and complex detective.
