First look inside Taylor Swift’s $1M childhood home in Pennsylvania where she filmed her Lucky You video

A first look inside Taylor Swift’s childhood home outside Reading, Pennsylvania, has been shared.

The current owner invited the cameras from Inside Edition, into the cute two-story dwelling.

This comes on the eve of the release of Swift’s new album The Life of a Showgirl.

Oh my gosh, I’ve been following Tracy Panase for ages, and I’m *obsessed* with her house! She and her family have been living in that gorgeous Georgian Colonial for three years now. Can you believe it was listed back in 2022 for almost $1million? It’s seriously my dream home, and I spend way too much time looking at pictures of it. It’s just perfect! I need to live there!

The TV show reported that they were honoring the show’s history by throwing a release party for fans, planned by well-known celebrity event organizer Marley Majcher.

The family allowed Inside Edition to tour their home and pointed out a sidewalk with the initials S.A.T.A. carved into it, which stand for Scott, Andrea, Taylor, and Austin Swift.

Panase shared with the show that a video from when Taylor was 13 is still available on YouTube. It features her filming the music video for her very first song, “Lucky You”, right here.

She shared that this was the room where Taylor first learned to play the guitar. Apparently, her mother, Andrea, wanted her to practice upstairs, right above the kitchen, so she could listen while she was cooking.

The Grammy-winning singer, Taylor Alison Swift, was born on December 13, 1989, in West Reading, Pennsylvania.

Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Kingsley Swift, worked as a stockbroker at Merrill Lynch. Her mother, Andrea Gardner Swift (born Finlay), had a career as a marketing executive in the mutual fund industry.

Swift’s younger brother, Austin, is an actor.

Taylor Swift’s maternal grandmother, Marjorie Finlay (born Moehlenkamp), was an opera singer. Swift’s first musical memories come from hearing her sing in church.

As a child, Taylor Swift enjoyed spending the holidays at a Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania, and her summers at her family’s beach house in Stone Harbor, New Jersey.

Before going to the Wyndcroft School in Pottstown, Taylor Swift first went to preschool and kindergarten at a Montessori school managed by the Bernardine Sisters of St. Francis.

When her family moved to Wyomissing, she attended Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School.

She began her journey in musical theater at the young age of nine, performing at community festivals and in shows with the Berks Youth Theatre Academy.

She also went to NYC for voice lessons.

Then, at 11 years old, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, motivated by the singing of Faith Hill.

She was rejected by music labels so she turned her attention to songwriting.

She began playing guitar at age 12. In 2003, she connected with talent manager Dan Dymtrow, who helped her sign with RCA Records when she was 13.

When Taylor was 14, her family relocated to Hendersonville, Tennessee to support her career. She attended Hendersonville High School for two years before moving to Aaron Academy.
