A first look at The Crown star Olivia Williams in her new Prime Video role has just been released.
As a passionate gamer, I can hardly contain my excitement as I’ve just learned that the actor portraying Camilla Parker Bowles is going to step into the role of Queen Morgase Trakand in Season 3 of The Wheel of Time! Can’t wait to see how this legendary character from Andor unfolds on the screen.
In this newly released scene, we find Queen Morgase and Elaida do Avriny a’Roihan (played by Shohreh Aghdashloo), appearing to attend a grand royal gathering.
In simpler terms, Morgase is portrayed as a relentless figure in the series. According to Variety, she didn’t just inherit her throne; instead, when there was no heir, she waged a fierce war against several noble contenders. Her strategic intelligence and unyielding ruthlessness were the keys to her victory.
She’s vowed since then to protect her daughter and heir, Elayne, from experiencing the same hardships she went through… and take actions similar to those she took herself.
“But far from being a tyrant, Morgase has become one of the best queens Andor has ever known.”
In the upcoming production of “The New Look,” Williams will be working with Nuno Lopes, who portrays Lord Gaebril. This character is Morgase’s consort, lover, and advisor on political and military matters.
In March 2024, The Wheel of Time series completed filming for its third season, announcing this on Instagram through a video post showcasing the principal cast members expressing their enthusiasm about the upcoming episodes.
In the upcoming third season, Rand will meet up with his companions again at Falme following his designation as the Dragon Reborn during the previous season.
As a devoted fan, I find myself immersed in a tale where the dangers against the Light seem to escalate at an alarming rate. The White Tower is fractured, the Black Ajah roam freely, ancient adversaries resurface in the Two Rivers, and the remaining Shadowspawn relentlessly chase the Dragon – including Lanfear, whose connection with Rand will bring a pivotal decision between Light and Darkness for us both.
