For approximately six months, we’ve followed the Awake NY and Jordan Brand collaboration on the Air Jordan 5, particularly focusing on the “Arctic Pink” colorway recently unveiled by Sukii Baby. Now, it has been disclosed that a “Racer Blue” pair is also forthcoming from this partnership, giving us a quick peek at the shoe.

The design from this pair consists of a black leather foundation adorned with silver metallic and racer blue accents on the tongue, heel, and sole. Notable modifications to the shoe echo those found in its pink counterpart, such as the Awake NY “A” logo on either side of the midfoot and joint branding of Awake NY and Jumpman at the top of the tongue.

As I write, we haven’t received any official information yet from Awake NY or Jordan Brand about the launch date for their upcoming Air Jordan 5 collaboration. Keep an eye out for news, including a detailed look at the “Racer Blue” colorway, as we anticipate the partnership to drop on August 30th. The release will be available on Nike SNKRS, Awake NY, and various other retailers, starting at $210 USD.
